Milestone
That's it from the contest as Oval Invincibles take the win and 2 points to their name. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Anirudh Modi and scorer Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Sam Billings (Oval Invincibles Captain): "Cox played a phenomenal knock showed his class. He got really good value for runs. TC missed out tonight with a shoulder injury, he adds to the extra bowling option.

We had a great sight over the last 2 years, it's about building a momentum. Left arm option with high pace, Gus always has the capability to bowl good pace. We got the resources but its about what we need to do. Its about backing our performances.

[On not bowling Narine earlier] Tom Banton is a phenomenal player of spin. He hit 2 brilliant reverse sweep. We saw a couple of wickets from this end so kept Sunil Narine's set.

We had many fans here tonight and looks like he (Ross Whiteley) made a few friends here. He went to the university here.

Sunny goes off to the CPL and Adam Zampa joins us on Sunday. We couldn't get a better replacement as he has got the most T20 wickets since 2019."
Jordan Cox | Match Hero: "It was a very good game of cricket. In the outfield as well, the boundary was short and straight and it was easy to score runs. Came on strike as simple as that, he was going after that and we both wanted to go, but I was like I'll leave it to you and once he was out, then I went. If you get out and the next person comes in and goes that shows great depth in time.

Played golf before today but lost. You don't get much time to warm up here and that helps with that. We have had a core now for 3 years and that hasn't changed, so that's a bonus and when you are winning you are flying as a team."
1:47 AM IST, 9:17 PM Local time: The Oval Invincibles wrap up the game by 9 runs after a brilliant show with both bat and ball. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the men in green posted 185/5 on the back of strong batting from Jordan Cox, Will Jacks and Heinrich Klaasen.

Tom Banton got off to a flier adding 22 runs on his own before his struggling opening partner Matt Short departed for a 4-ball duck with Sam Curran taking an excellent catch of Gus Atkinson's bowling. Curran then chipped with the ball removing Harry Brook for just 4.

Banton then struck a 57-run solid partnership with Adam Hose (41 off 19), the latter mistimed a slog off Nathan Sowter's bowling holing out to Will Jacks in the deep. Banton continued the assault adding 62 runs with Saif Zaib (17 off 11) but after the latter's departure it was time for Banton to go back in the hut with 31 more to win in 15 deliveries.

Ross Whiteley took a splendid catch to dismiss the opener after he took the Superchargers close to win with 81 in 43 balls. The lower middle order crumbled as Gus Atkinson (3/24), Sam Curran (2/31), Sunil Narine (1/35), Spencer Johnson (1/36) and Nathan Sowter (1/48) all chipped in with wickets to take the team to win.

Adil Rashid walks out to bat with 13 runs needed off 2 deliveries.
Is that the game then? Just 2 more legal deliveries and Oval will be home!
98b G Atkinson to B Carse
W PULLED WITHOUT GOOD CONNECTION AND HOLED OUT!! Short pitched delivery attacking the stump line. Carse is late in clearing his front leg. Swings hard across the line and loses the shape while playing the pull. The ball goes high and is taken at deep midwicket by Jordan Cox.
Much needed! Brings the equation down to 13 runs from 3 balls!
97b G Atkinson to B Carse
4 FOUR!! Smashed over mid off!! 90 mph half volley outside the off stump. Carse uses the pace and swings down the ground connecting well to hit it up and over in the gap between mid off and extra cover. No protection on the fence.
