That's all from our coverage of the second game of the Women's tri series as the South Africans also get a couple of points to their name. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu and scorer Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Masabata Klaas: "As bowlers we always want to get better and after the first two overs I said to myself to just keep bowling. I was enjoying especially when you know your teammates are there to support you, the team management and the fans here, its quite a nice feeling. We played our first game here so you know what areas to hit so I think I did what I know to do best."
Masabata Klaas is the player of the match.
Sune Luus (South Africa Captain): "Very happy with the performance today. I think all aspects of the game came together today, hence the win. We spoke a lot after the first game on what we needed to improve, I think today we just focused on the basics and I think we got it right nicely. Its a good building block to the next match.

Its always nice to get a crowd out here. Very excited for the World cup to come but East London has lot of supporters. We have a few local players from here. Anneke Bosch, Ayabonga Khaka and Jafta is from here so I think everybody coming to support the local favorites and the South Africa team.

There are always things to reflect on. In the death overs, I think we could have finished with a bit more runs with the bat. Losing a couple of wickets there instead of just trying to knock it around for singles instead of looking for big hits. Looking to hit the gaps to make singles into doubles but you are never gonna have a perfect innings so its good to look back and reflect on it."
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Captain): "We would have hope to get off to a better start but a lot of positives we can take out of this game. The way Shamilia Connell was able to bowl throughout the innings was really really good to watch. So some positives to take from and definitely some areas we'd like to work on as well.

Try to get used to the conditions and see what the wickets are like and yeah we just had a proper opportunity to do that today and rest of the series as well. I think just more runs on the top. We got off to a good start within the powerplay but it kinda fell down somewhere in the middle so if we can have one or two batters sticking in for a bit longer and try to build a bigger innings, that would help in building an overall total."
9:24 PM IST: It's all over in East London as the hosts South Africa get their first win of the tri series defeating West Indies convincingly by 44 runs. Quick recap to the game as the hosts won the toss and decided to bat first and did better with the bat than in the first game getting a fighting total of 141/5 in their 20 overs.

Marizanne Kapp was the star with the bat scoring 52 in 43 balls with skipper Sune Luus scoring a brisk 30. Both batters added 63 runs for the 3rd wicket to propel the Proteas to a good score. Shamilia Connell (2/17) was the pick of the West Indies bowlers with Shabika Gajnabi and Hayley Matthews picking up a wicket apiece.

West Indies got a solid start first ball as the skipper Hayley Matthews displayed her intentions by going hard first ball to get a boundary but the South African bowlers sticked to good lines and lengths bowling outside the off stump and then executed their yorkers to perfection.

The openers added 32 runs in 5.5 overs with Britney Cooper departing for 15. There was no considerable partnership in the innings thereafter and with the departure of Matthews for 23, the visitors just crumbled under pressure. Shermaine Campbelle and Shamilia Connell were the other batters to score in the double figures.

Masabata Klaas displayed her class with 4 wickets conceding only 21 runs in her four over spell. Nonkululeko Mlaba and Ayabonga Khaka bowled terrific spells sharing 2 wickets and 2 maidens between them with Chloe Tryon getting the important wicket of Campbelle in the 13th over.

Stay tuned as we bring you the post match presentation.
