Player Bio

Karishma Ramharack is a Trinidad and Tobago-based cricketer who plays for West Indies internationally. She is an impressive off-spin bowler who can also bowl leg-spin to bluff the batters. A cricketer by passion but Ramharack is also a qualified engineer who wants to design skyscrapers and future iconic architecture.

The spinner started playing at an early age of five years but she played with the leather ball until she was 15. Budding from Trinidad and Tobago, Ramharack was initially picked for West Indies in 2015 and has been on the fringes of the team for the next four years.

The Trinidadian made her international debut against Pakistan in 2019 to play both her maiden ODI and T20I. She had figures of 2 for 20 in her T20 debut T20 match and ended with 0 for 17 in her debut ODI.

Later that year, the spinner was picked for the series against Ireland, England, and Australia where she had a bit of success but didn’t get the opportunity to represent West Indies in the 2020 World T20.

Ramharack has been unfortunate to not get selected much. Nevertheless, she has been getting some opportunities of late. The spinner has shown a glimpse of her potential to become a valuable asset to West Indies Cricket and serve them across all formats.
