8:34 PM IST and 4:04 PM Local Time | That's the end to a thrilling game. At the end Hampshire Hawks won the match by defeating Kent by 3 wickets with one ball remaining.

Let’s have a review of what happened in the match. 

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first,
Zak Crawley and Daniel Bell-Drummond for Kent. They added 59 runs for the first wicket before Bell-Drummond was dismissed for 42 of 27 balls. Zak Crawley managed to score 20 from 15 balls before skipper Sam Billings played a vital knock of 43 runs from 30 balls. Towards the end of the innings, Joe Denly managed to score 18 from 21 balls and Joey Evison remained not out on 14* from 10 balls to help their team post a total of 165/9 in 20 overs.

Hampshire Hawks, Chris Wood was the pick of the bowlers who took 2/19 in 4 overs. James Fuller, Benny Howell and Liam Dawson also picked two wickets each in the innings. John Andrew Turner picked one wicket. 

With a target of 166 on the board, Ben McDermott and skipper James Vince opened the innings for Hampshire
Hawks. After adding 53 runs for the first wicket, Ben McDermott lost his wicket for 25 from 20 balls. They were then down to 78/3 in 11.5 overs when James Vince was dismissed for 35 from 34 balls. Joe Weatherley played a handsome knock of 49 from 32 balls, while James Fuller’s quick fire 30 from 16 balls took the game away from Kent. At the end, Liam Dawson remained not out on 9 from 4 balls alongside Michael Neser who added just one run from one ball. 


For Kent, Joey Evison was the pick of the bowlers who took 3/31 in 4 overs. Xavier Bartlett, Beyers Swanepoel, Grant Stewart and Matthew Parkinson picked one wicket each in the innings.

The batters manage to scramble through for a single. So, that's the game! Hampshire wins the contest by 3 wickets with one ball to spare and get a thrilling win in the end.
