So that's it from the famed Wanderers Stadium, with Durban's Super Giants claiming a superb victory here in Qualifer 2 of SA20, upstaging Joburg Super Kings to set up a rematch of Qualifier 1 with Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the final of the tournament. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this game. It is time for me, Sourya Chowdhury, to bid you good night on behalf of myself and my fellow commentator Saptak Sanyal and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. See you soon.
Heinrich Klaasen (player of the match)- "They bowled incredibly well at the start, I had to dig deep before I could get going. Earlier, they did not give us any length to work with. Expectation does weigh heavily, but I focus on my processes and stay humble, hopefully I can keep on hitting the ball nice and sweet for some time to come. I choose to stay patient early to help my team later with my power hitting. We played poorly in the first semifinal against SEC and will hope to do better in the final come day after tomorrow."
Player of the Match- Heinrich Klaasen
Keshav Maharaj (Durban's Super Giants Captain)- "They bowled really well, the Super Kings. Klassy was working hard since a lot of days and his hard work has paid off today. He is one of the best T20 cricketers in the world. Mulder has made a terrific comeback and it is really pleasing to see somebody of his calliber is getting the rewards. I think, the process of taking wickets is more important so we stick to our plans every single day.

I think we should not think too much for the final. We have to play the brand of cricket we are playing throughout the tournament and that will help us."
Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings Captain)- "They performed really well with the bat. Conceding close to 100 runs from the last five overs was unfortunate for us. But , ypu know with somebody like Klaasen in the opposition, this can always happen, he is that kind of a player. I think, we have conceded 20 runs more from the par score.

I think we have done really well throughout the tournament. There are some good characters in our dressing room and it was a nice experience playing with them. A bad day may come on your way and that has happened. Two strong teams will compete in the final, that's a good thing."
Time for the post match presenntations.
12:59am IST and 9:11pm Local Time: A brilliant performance in Qualifier 2 has ensured that Durban's Super Giants have reached the all-important final of SA20, having defeated their challengers, home team Joburg Super Kings by a mammoth 69 runs.
Defending a humongous 211/6, DSG were on the mark with the new ball from the get-go, with Reece Topley (1/24) and Naveen-ul-Haq (2/27) both bowling with fire, with the latter also taking a stunning catch to get rid of Leus du Plooy in the first powerplay. Moeen Ali (30 off 26), Donovan Ferreira, Reeza Hendricks and Doug Bracewell all played quickfire cameos but got out at the most inopportune moments, as the required run-rate kept on climbing steeply and the likes of Junior Dala (4/38) and Dwayne Pretorius mixed it up to take crucial wickets, with the outfielders holding on to all the catches that came their way. In the end, the Super Kings fell too far short of their huge target.
Earlier, Durban overcame a good bowling performance in the initial overs from JSK to ride the aggressive brilliance of Heinrich Klaasen (74 off 30) and Wiaan Mulder (50 off 23), who shared a scintillating 101-run partnership to go sailing past 200. Klaasen and Mulder punished all-comers to all corners of the park, after the top-order had failed to really accelerate despite a decent hand from Bhanuka Rajapaksa, to take the game beyond their opponents with a breathtaking exhibition of attacking batting. In the end, 211 was a bridge too far for their adversaries.
Klaasen, in particular, was patient early when the bowlers were on top, to unleash his fury when he was well-set. Mulder also timed the ball with elan and played a great second fiddle. Nandre Burger (2/27) was the pick of the bowlers for Joburg, but he couldn't alone stop the onslaught that his team was subjected to.

17.4 J Dala to N Burger
W That's the end of the qualifier 2!!!!! Dala bowls a fullish length delivery at the pads. Burger stays leg side of the ball and tries to flick it through the on side but the ball hits him on his pads and deflects back on to hit the leg stump. The Durban's Super Giants have defeated the Joburg Super Kings by 69 runs and they will have a rendezvous with the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the grand finale scheduled on the 10th of February, the day after tomorrow!!!!!
17.3 J Dala to I Tahir
1 Low full toss at the off stump. Tahir moves leg side of the ball and punches it to deep cover for a single.
17.2 J Dala to I Tahir
0 Back of length delivery outside off. Tahir swings and misses. Umpires are checking if it is the second short ball of the over but it is a normal one.
17.2 J Dala to I Tahir
WD Short of length delivery at the middle. Tahir gets surprised by the express pace and ducks. Wide called for height!

17.1 J Dala to D Bracewell
W Dala gets the prized scalp of Bracewell now!!! He steams in from over the wicket and bowls a slow length delivery around the off stump. Bracewell off his backfoot, tries to heave it over the on side but mistimes it straight up in the air. Klaasen settles under the ball at the left of deep square leg and takes the catch.
