So, that's it from this game as Uttar Pradesh qualifies for the quarterfinals while Gujarat bows out. We have one more pre-quarterfinal  coming your way between Assam and Bengal. Do join us for that game soon and for all other fixtures around the globe, stay tuned to our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee bidding adieu on behalf of Saptak Sanyal alongside scorers/analysts Bishal Mandal and Yogesh Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye for now.
Nitish Rana- "Knock out game is very important as we don't get the second chance. We got tough wickets in the league stages and I knew that this pitch will be good in the later half of the game. I knew that I had to play long innings and if I play the entire overs we will go home and that happened.

When I came to UP, I wanted to do big and my journey with UP has been very fascinating till now.

Playing in the IPL for 8-9 years, I learnt how to take this type of matches  out and I just executed my learnings today.

Our fast bowlers were brilliant, all four of them were top-notch today."
2:43 PM IST and Local Time: Dhruv Jurel finishes things off in style as Uttar Pradesh wins this game by 6 wickets with 8 balls left to qualify for the quarter finals. They started well with the ball and restricted to Gujarat to a low total and then through a Nitish Rana masterclass got home in the end by 6 wickets with 8 balls left. Gujarat bow out of the tournament.

Chasing 128 for a place in the quarterfinals, UP lost skipper Karan Sharma and Abhishek Goswami early as both the openers fell cheaply. But then it was the Nitish Rana show as his unbeaten 71* off 49 balls guided the chase through and get the win in the end. He was ably supported by Sameer Rizvi who scored 30 off 39 balls and kept supporting Rana from the other end. Rizvi got out but Jurel stayed unbeaten with 13* off 9 balls and hit the winning runs. 8 extras were given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in the 19th over.

From Gujarat's bowling point of view, they had a less total to defend. Ravi Bishnoi got a couple of wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Hemang Patel and Chintan Gaja. But the runs were too inadequate to defend despite Gujarat trying their best with the ball.

Earlier in the game, Gujarat were put into bat by UP and lost wickets at regular intervals and never got going to be fair. The openers fell early. Saurav Chauhan top scored with 32 off 21 balls. Chirag Gandhi scored 19 off 21 balls. Hemang Patel scored a good 20 off 21 balls. Vishal Jayswal scored 12* off 9 balls while Piyush Chawla was unbeaten on 13* off 8 balls. 19 extras given by the fielding side as Gujarat posted 127/8 in 20 overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/21 in 4 overs. Mohsin Khan gave him good support with figures of 2/13 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Nitish Rana, Jasmer Dhankhar, and Kartik Tyagi. All in all, a great bowling display by UP bowlers and the batters did their job in the end.

So, UP wins this game by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare to qualify for the quarter finals.
