Player Bio

Right-handed wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel is an Indian cricketer who hails from Agra. Dhruv represents Uttar Pradesh in India's domestic circuit and has been one of the top emerging prospects for a while now.

The gloveman captained the U-19 India side in the Asia Cup 2019, where he helped his side bag the trophy. Dhruv was also the vice-captain of the India U-19 side in the 2020 season of the U-19 Cricket World Cup, where India ended as the runners-up.

The young bloke made his T20 debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2020-21 season of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and has been a vital member of the squad since then. His performances in the shortest format of the game saw him earn a place in Uttar Pradesh's squad for the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy.

Inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals bought Dhruv Jurel for his base price of INR 20 lakhs in the 2022 mega-auction of IPL. The 21-year-old hopes to gain as much as he can from his counterpart Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson.
