The eagerly-awaited final of the ACC Emerging Asia Cup between India-A and Pakistan-A concludes with Pakistan-A emerging triumphant, claiming the prestigious title of ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023. We hope you relished all the action showcased on our network.

This is Hitesh Peddurwar, along with my esteemed co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer Dushyant Madhukar Kumar, signing off. Stay safe and continue to cherish the magic of cricket🏏!
The winning captain Mohammad Haris receives the trophy🏆 and celebrations begin in their camp!!!!
Mohammad Haris (Pakistan-A Captain): "First of all, congratulations to the whole Pakistan. Yes, there is always the pressure of the finals and once there are runs on the board, it becomes really difficult for the opposition. In recent matches, we've been experimenting with various team combinations, and it has proven to be beneficial for us.

Recognizing that India A relies heavily on their top order, our primary goal was to secure early wickets. The team has been highly motivated, and their performance has been exceptional. As we have the Asia Cup and World Cup on the horizon, these positive developments bode well for our cricketing prospects."
Now it's time to present Medals 🥇 to the winning team, i.e. Pakistan-A.
Yash Dhull(India-A Captain): " They batted really well, we got a few wickets in the middle but they came back nicely. The wicket was good to bat but we played really bad. The decision of bowling first was good but they batted really well, we played bad shots and dragged down in the game.

We are young, no one made a debut in the international team. It was a great experience and a good platform to play."
Runners-up Medals 🥈 are presented to the India-A team players and coaching staff.
Nishant Sindhu (Player of the tournament): "Feeling good after playing this tournament, tried to win this game but Pakistan played better cricket. The wicket was a bit better today, and I was trying to bowl as many dot balls and create pressure. Our mood was normal and didn't plan anything different. The plan was to play ball by ball and take it deep and then see the result."
Tayyab Tahir(Player of the Match): " It's the effort of everyone, we thought that once we get into the flow then we should not leave it. Mubasir and I decided to go slow when we lost wickets, as they were bowling well, as we got settled in the middle then we took charge. Everyone does the hard work, it's just about the luck."
Player of the Match: Tayyab Tahir
The mementos are presented to the Match Officials.
21:34 IST| It's time for the post match presentation ceremony!!!
Saim Ayub: "Our plan was to play with fearless intent and we took this game as a simple match,  tried to put the opponent under pressure, and that worked."
Omair Yousuf: "We lost to India earlier so we came up with a new plan in this match, and we executed our plan very well today. We try to play out team with full effort."
Mohammad Wasim Jr: "It was a team effort, and everyone played really well. The wicket was a bit slow, and our intention was to achieve a substantial score. Personally, I faced some challenges dealing with the new ball. However, I found it advantageous to enter the game as the first change today."
21:19 IST| That's it... Celebration🎉 begins in the Pakistan-A camp. They showcased their brilliance in every facet of the game, delivering a dominant performance to secure a convincing 128-run win. With this emphatic victory, they successfully defend their title and are crowned champions🏆 of the ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023.

Earlier in the game, India A won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pakistan A's openers, Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan, got off to a roaring start, building an impressive partnership of 121 runs. The runs flowed effortlessly for Pakistan A in the beginning. However, India's bowlers made a strong comeback during the middle overs, taking quick wickets and putting pressure on the opposition. Saim Ayub scored 59 runs, and Sahibzada Farhan contributed 65 runs before their dismissals.

India A's bowlers managed to rattle Pakistan A's middle order, reducing them from 183-2 to 183-5 in a flash. But, it was Tayyab Tahir's heroics that turned the tide back in Pakistan's favor. His remarkable innings of 108 runs off just 71 balls helped Pakistan A form a massive partnership of 126 runs for the 6th wicket with Mubasir Khan, propelling their total to an impressive 352 runs.

From India A's bowling perspective, Riyan Parag and Rajvardhan Hangargekar picked up two wickets each, while Manav Suthar, Harshit Rana, and Nishant Sindhu contributed with one wicket apiece.

In pursuit of the challenging target of 353 runs, Indian openers B Sai Sudharsan and Abhishek Sharma began with a positive and aggressive approach, forming a solid partnership of 64 runs. Unfortunately, B Sai Sudharsan fell victim to a well-directed short ball and departed after scoring 29 runs. Nikon Jose joined Sharma in the middle, but his innings was short-lived, as he got out after contributing 11 runs. The responsibility then fell on the shoulders of skipper Yash Dhull and his deputy Abhishek Sharma to anchor the innings.

Together, they kept the run rate ticking and built a crucial partnership of 52 runs for the 3rd wicket. However, India-A faced a setback when Abhishek Sharma departed after scoring a valiant 61 runs. With his dismissal, India-A found themselves in a precarious situation. Nishant Sindhu (10) couldn't stay long, and Yash Dhull's dismissal for 39 further intensified the pressure.

The young duo of Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag displayed glimpses of their potential, constructing a promising 20-run partnership. But the mounting pressure saw India-A's batting line-up falter, and they were ultimately bowled out for 224 runs in 40 overs.

Credit must be given to the remarkable display by Pakistan-A's bowlers, led by Sufiyan Muqeem's three-wicket haul and well-supported by Arshad Iqbal, Mohammad Wasim Jr and Mehran Mumtaz, who claimed two wickets each.

With this fantastic triumph, Pakistan-A successfully defended their title in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023, leaving fans enchanted with their exceptional performance.

Stay tuned with us for the post-match presentation ceremony!!!

W WICKET! BOWLED'EM! That's it, a comprehensive victory for Pakistan A, and they defended the Emerging Asia Cup title successfully. Pakistan A side are pumped up and the fireworks go on here at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

Coming to the ball now, it was a yorker delivery straight on the off-stump line. Yuvrajsinh stands tall and tries the helicopter shot but fails to get anything on it. The ball beats the inside edge of the bat and crashes into the stumps.
