Milestone
That's it from this game. We will be back with more cricketing action from across the world and across formats on this Super Sunday. Until next time, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Rovman Powell(Barbados Royals captain):- "I think the execution in bowling was good. There are chances to improve in death bowling and youngsters are learning. Nyeem bowled good so I gave him the last and things went harsh and it can be.

The role of Jimbo(Rahkeem Cornwall) is to bat first six overs, if he bats four or five overs we can score well. That means we can stay 100-2 after the halfway mark. From the start I had clear plans in my mind. I knew whom to attack and I just did that.

Specially when you have team like St. Kitts, they have right-left variety well and this is what difficult to score anywhere in the ground. This is where you need to use the dimensions well to hit the boundary shots."
Sherfane Rutherord (St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots): "Evin has an injury and is nursing it. I think we got a good score, but we didn't execute well enough and we paid the price. The fielding was pathetic to say the least. We were a little short of 25 runs but we did not execute well and we lost with the ball I would say. I think we did not hit the right areas. Slower balls and change of pace was needed. Yorkers were needed and we did not hit them well enough. Nyeem has to hold his nerves and come back stronger. Stick to your plan as long as possible and do well for your team. Bad day with the ball and we lost the game. Hope to come back well in the next game."
Qais Ahmad (Player of the Match): "Thanks to mighty Allah. I am happy with my performance and the coach and captain encouraged me to do well and I stuck to the basics to do well. The conditions are good for batting and I bowled right and lengths and lines. Happy to get the win in the end and happy with my performance."
08:02 IST and 21:30 Local Time | That has been some chase for the Barbados Royals. They chased down 197 with 9 balls to spare.

Chasing 197, Barbados Royals were going really well in their first 4 overs. There was flurry of boundaries, some excellent timings that bolstered them to 58 after the first 4 overs. But once, Rahkeem Cornwall was back after scoring 15 ball 38, run rate fell down. Kyle Mayers at the other end hit some good shots before getting out on 31.

Jason Holder, the experienced man joined Alick Athanaze and for almost three overs, they failed to collect any boundaries. Holder later scored a few boundaries to score 24.

Alick Athanaze struggled throughout his innings for his 30 but Rovman Powell, the captain, played a captain's knock to ensure his team go home quickly. He smacked three consecutive sixes against Dominic Drakes to bring up his 50 in just 21 balls.

Rovman remained not out till the end and scored a fine 67 to hand his team a well deserved victory with 9 balls and 6 wickets remaining. Dominic Drakes took 2 wickets while Corbin Bosch and Romano Nedd took a wicket each.

Batting first, Andre Fletchers fine half century and some late hitting from Corbin Bosch helped the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots to register 197. Qais Ahmad bowled fabulously for Royals.

It was an excellent chase by Barbados Royals. They went hard right from the start and maintained the run rate to make the chase successful.
18.3 O Thomas to R Powell
4 FOUR! Fuller and wide outside off, Powell drives it handsomely through the covers as the ball races away to the cover fence for a boundary to end the contest here. Powell hits the winning runs as the Royals win this by 6 wickets with 9 balls to spare. This is the second highest chase ever in CPL history.
18.2 O Thomas to R Powell
0 Fuller and wide angling away outside off, Powell plays and misses to the keeper. No signal from the umpire.
18.1 O Thomas to R Powell
6 SIX! Short of a length into the pitch, Powell pulls it away over deep midwicket as the ball sails just over the fielder and goes over the ropes for the maximum.
8 needed from the last two overs. 3 fielders can be outside the circle as slow over rate penalty.
