That’s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Prince Suman and Scorer/Analyst Bishal Mandal, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. CHEERS!

2:33 AM IST | Deepak: Somerset's winning streak remains unbroken as they dominate Kent, emerging victorious by 13 runs in a rain-curtailed game. With this triumph, Somerset has now won four games on the trot.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Somerset were bundled out for 154 runs in 20 overs. Somerset started their innings on a lackluster note, as they lost their top three batters in the powerplay and were reeling at 40/3. Tom Lammonby tried to steady the ship by scoring 34 runs, but Somerset’s wicket kept tumbling at regular intervals, and eventually, they were bundled out for 154 runs in the last ball of the innings. From the bowling front, Michael Hogan and Wes Agar bagged three wickets for Kent.

In pursuit of Somerset’s 154 runs, Kent got off to a shaky start as they lost a couple of wickets in the powerplay and were reeling at 37/2 in the 6th over when the rain interrupted play and the match was subsequently reduced to 19 overs. As per the DLS method, Kent were given a revised target of 150 runs to chase. As the game resumed, Siddle clean-bowled Daniel Bell-Drummond for 13 runs, putting Kent under pressure.

As the game continued amidst intermittent rain showers, Kent encountered further setbacks, losing a couple more wickets while attempting to keep up with the DLS par score. However, as luck would have it, the rain intensified once again, forcing a halt in play. After a brief delay, the match was further reduced to 15 overs, with the revised target now set at 126 runs.

Kent batters tried to score at a rapid pace, but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, and eventually, they were bundled out for 112 runs in 15 overs, falling 13 runs short of the target.

From the bowling front, Ben Green bagged three wickets. Peter Siddle and Lewis Gregory chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Josh Davey, Matt Henry, and Roelof van der Merwe contributed one wicket to Kent's downfall.
