That’s a wrap from our side as well. I hope you enjoyed our coverage. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Datrim Singha Ray and Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye✌✌✌✌.
Wayne Parnell(Pretoria Capitals Captain): "wonderful game to win. At the midway point, we were secure, but credit goes to our bowling team. They put in a lot of labor. The goal in the locker room is to relieve these players of the pressure so they can perform on the field. We have had several match-winners. (On Jacques Kallis) He is a legend of the game and has encouraged us to remain composed while entertaining the audience throughout this intense T20 match."
Will Jacks(Player of the match): "Fantastic victory; we also receive the bonus point. I'm overjoyed about that. It was completely sold out thanks to the enthusiastic crowds. My first time playing in South Africa, and I definitely want to return. Every ground here, in my opinion, has a different set of circumstances. I try to keep things straightforward; if it falls into my zone, I play my shots."
Rashid Khan(MI Cape Town Captain): "I believe that choosing to bowl first was the proper move, but Jacks' performance during the powerplay effectively ended the game. I believe we did well in limiting them to 182 in the way we returned. However, given the pitch, we would have preferred to chase 150–160. We shouldn't try too many new things during the tournament's final phase, in my opinion."
12:43 AM IST | Deepak: MI Cape Town faced a massive collapse after the demise of Dewald Brevis and are bundled out for 130 runs. Pretoria Capitals crushed the home side by 52 runs and will receive an extra bonus point.🙌🙌

The Capitals got off to a scintillating start in the powerplay, thanks to an electrifying inning from Will Jacks💥, who scored a rapid 62 runs off 27 balls. However, MI Cape Town managed to pull things back and restrict the Capitals to a total of 182 runs in 20 overs. Jofra Archer and Rashid Khan were the standout bowlers for MI Cape Town, sharing three wickets each, with Rashid Khan completing his 500th T-20I wicket👏👏 on this occasion.

In pursuit of the Capitals' total, MI Cape Town got off to a shaky start, losing Ryan Rickelton early in the innings. Sam Curran and Dewald Brevis then joined forces at number three and started scoring briskly, but their progress was halted when Curran departed for 22 runs off 18 balls. Brevis was in scintillating form but fell just 4 runs short of his well-deserved half-century after forging a partnership of 47 runs for the third wicket. Unfortunately, MI Cape Town faced a massive collapse after the demise of Brevis and were bundled out for 130 runs.

On the other hand, Wayne Parnell and Anrich Nortje scalped three wickets each for the Capitals, with Adil Rashid chipping in with a couple of wickets, and Eathan Bosch and Will Jacks each contributing one wicket. In the end, it was the Pretoria Capitals who emerged victorious, securing a 52-run win over MI Cape Town.

Stick around for the post-match presentations...
18.1 W Parnell to K Rabada
W BOWLED HIM! IT IS ALL OVER FOR MICT! THEY HAVE BEEN BUNDLED OUT FOR 130. What a terrific bowling display by the skipper to bring his side back into the game.

It was a juicy full toss with a bit of reverse swing on offer. Rabada was too late to offer a shot on that. Ball crashes onto the off stump and sends it flying!
