Bio
Will Jacks got attracted towards cricket from a very young age and went on to play for Surrey at all levels, starting from U-9’s, all the way to the England U-19 side and ECB XI.
A spin bowling all-rounder who has a great stock ball, Jack also has the ability to clear the fence with ease. He rose to prominence in a T10 game against Lancashire in 2017 when the all-rounder smashed a 25-ball hundred.
He continued his reputation as a clean hitter of the ball when the Surrey-based cricketer scored a brilliant ton against India in a U-19 Test in 2017, and as a result, was immediately drafted in the England squad for the 2018 U-19 World Cup. The Lancaster-born struck a majestic 102 against Canada but apart from that was largely disappointing throughout the tournament.
The handy all-rounder made his List-A debut for Somerset in the 2018 Royal London ODI Cup. He scored a crucial 121 against a good Gloucestershire side and announced his arrival in some style.
Jacks was drafted in by the Oval Invincibles for the inaugural season of the Hundreds.
A talented all-rounder, Jacks has been knocking at the doors of the selectors for quite a while now. A good performance in the 2021 domestic season might present him with an opportunity to represent England at the international level.
