Milestone
That's it from all of us for this game. Do switch tabs as South Africa Women will lock horns against Bangladesh Women in the last league game of the T20 World Cup 2023. For now, this is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Srivathsa and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Tata. Bye bye.
Heather Knight (England Women Skipper): "It was outstanding. We needed this to take the momentum heading into the semi-finals. The batters were brilliant and the bowlers then backed up. It was very pleasing to see Dani bat. She was looking good in the nets and once she gets going, it’s hard to stop her. It was about giving Lauren a bit of rest. Also gave Freya a good chance to play in this World Cup. Katherine bowled brilliantly and used the bouncers cleverly. Good to get used to the surface and it’s a lovely place to play cricket."
Nida Dar (Pakistan Women Skipper): "It was not the result we wanted. Disappointing from the team. We were lacking today with Ayesha and Maroof missing out. We have to learn from these kinds of matches. We played two good matches and have to take the positives from them. It’s time for the young players to step up. We have Ayesha Naseem and should have some coming through. (On becoming highest wicket-taker in T20Is) I’m happy with the achievement. It’s not about the milestone but happy to contribute for my side."
Nat Sciver-Brunt (Player of the Match): "It was alright at the start. Their spinners bowled slower than ours. We sort of assessed the wicket to be pretty good and just attacked from there. Really pleased that Dani Wyatt put up a score on the board. It was really good our fielding, we have not been at our best with the ball and in the field earlier in the tournament and Katherine getting us a good start at the top set us up."
Nat Sciver-Brunt is named the Player of the Match.
A record win in Women's T20 World Cups. By 114 runs. What a one-sided thrashing this has been. To be honest Pakistan had no chance once England put up 213 on the board. The opening over saw Katherine Brunt-Sciver get an early wicket and soon it was a procession.

Nida Dar came out and looked to be positive but she went for a big slog and was stumped. Soon wickets fell at regular intervals with a couple of run-outs - one being comical to say the least.

Tuba at the end had some fun and made 28 helping herself to runs when the game was long gone.

A good workout for the English girls before their semi-final as they professionally finished off the job.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...

19.6 S Ecclestone to N Sandhu
W WICKET!!!! Sandhu steps out of the crease and on seeing it, Ecclestone fires it full outside off as Sandhu fails to get any bat on that one. Jones collects it cleanly and whips the bails in a flash as Sandhu is stumped here. A wicket on the final ball as England Women beat Pakistan Women by 114 runs. The biggest win by runs for any team in Women's T20 World Cups.
19.5 S Ecclestone to F Sana
1 Short outside off, Sana cuts it to the sweeper in the off side for a run.
19.4 S Ecclestone to N Sandhu
1 Flighted delivery outside off, Sandhu steps out and pushes it to mid off. She sets off for a quick run. Wyatt has a shy at the non-striker's end but misses.  A direct hit adn Sandhu was gone.
19.3 S Ecclestone to N Sandhu
0 Slightly short from Ecclestone and Sandhu pushes it to covers.
19.2 S Ecclestone to F Sana
1 A full toss outside off and Sana drives it to the sweeper in the off side for a single.
19.1 S Ecclestone to F Sana
4b Tossed up around leg, Sana steps out and looks to slog it but misses. Jones behind the stumps fails to get her body behind that one and it races away to the fence. Byes signaled by the umpire.

18.5 F Davies to T Hassan
1+W Fuller delivery on the stumps, Hassan drives it straight past mid off. Katherine from long on runs to her left and dives to keep it inside the ropes. The throw comes in at the non-striker's end and there is some confusion in the middle of the pitch between the batters. Hassan thinks that the ball has reached the fence and doesn't bother to get inside the crease. Davies collects the throw and dislodges the bails as Hassan is well short of the crease. This is bizarre from both batters.
