Yasim Murtaza | Player of the match: " It was basically it was a very good wicket to bat so I just need to plan on my variation and this is what I did. Once I came to bowl I play as a bowler and once I come to bat I play as a batter (about his role in the team)."
Nizakat Khan | Captain Hong Kong: " I think with the ball we started really well we executed our plans but there were areas where we slip from our plans but credit goes to Yasim the way he bowled in the middle was outstanding. We wanted to bowl first because at the time of sunset it is difficult to bat for the first 15 minutes. In the second inning, Yasim batted really well and made our task easy. It's good to see him scoring runs ( Babar Hayat) we really wanted him to fire and for tomorrow's preparation he is our key player."
Mohamed Aslam | Captain Kuwait: "Yes, that score was not enough. At the time of the chase, it got easier, we would have liked 30 more runs on the board. He is one of our power hitters (Edson Silva) but unfortunately, it wasn't enough. Nizkhat and Babar batted well, credit to them. Our bowlers tried to take wickets but 150 (151) wasn't enough. Tomorrow we have a game, we will try to win that by a big margin."

Deepak: That’s the end of the 4th Asia Cup qualifiers between Kuwait and Hong Kong where Hong Kong thumped Kuwait by 8 wickets. A brilliant display of the batting performance by Hong Kong helped them seal the match by 8 wickets.
Earlier Kuwait scored 151 runs at the loss of 9 wickets where they batted brilliantly in the last 5 overs as they were able to score 74 runs in the last 5 overs and set the target of 152 runs for Hong Kong.
Hong Kong came out to chase down 152 runs and they started their innings with impunity as they were able to score 48 runs in the powerplay without losing any wickets. Yasim Murtaza and Nizakat Khan built a partnership of 59 runs for the first wicket as Murtaza fell just 4 runs short of his half-century and was cleaned bowled by Adnan in the fifth ball of the 8th over.
Nizakat Khan played brilliantly throughout the inning and scored 50 runs off 43 balls. Babar Hayat batted till the end and scored 53 runs off just 30 balls and sealed the match for his team.
On the other hand, Shafeeq and Adnan shared one wicket each.

6 SIX!! That's all over for Kuwait. Hayat smashed the six to seal the deal for them and brought his fifty with that as well. Shafeeq pitched that fuller outside off, the batter smashed that over extra cover for a flat six.
