That's it from our coverage of match 25 from Ballarat. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from across the globe.
So its another washout in the WBBL with both Thunder and Stars getting 1 point each. It is the second time both the teams are having a washout in this season so far.

Sydney Thunder Women put into bat first by the Melbourne Stars got off to a steady start as the openers Phoebe Litchfield and Amy Jones put on 33 for the first wicket. Litchfield was the first to go for 19 off 19 balls to Annabel Sutherland. Amy Jones looked good while she was out there. The keeper batter opened the batting today as Tammy Beaumont was left out. Jones scored 38 off 35 balls. Skipper Rachel Haynes was batting on 15* off 19 balls and Anika Learoyd was batting on 4* off 10 balls when the weather intervened. The game was nicely poised with the Thunder at 79/2 after 13.5 overs with the help of 3 extras given by the Stars bowlers.

A wicket apiece for Annabel Sutherland, and Sophie Day. The bowlers kept a tight leash on the Thunder batters and the last 6.1 overs would have been fascinating but heavy rain forced the players to rush off the field.  The rain never relented and forced the umpires to call off the play as both sides were forced to share the spoils for the second time this season.

The news from Ballarat is that rain has had the final say as the match has been abandoned due to rain. For the second time this season, both Stars and Thunder are forced to split the points.
10:25AM IST: OH NO! Huge windy rain! It was raining here since quite a while but this time it is quite too much. The ground staff is working hard through the wind to put the covers on the pitch and the infield. The players and the umpires are back in the dressing room.
13.5 A Sutherland to R Haynes
1 Short of a length here, Haynes clips it away for a single to get to the other end as the rain begins to pour down here.
