Jamaica Tallawahs started off in a sluggish manner as they lost way too many wickets right at the top. Jamaica managed to score 25 for the loss of 4 wickets in the powerplay. Wasim and Allen batted well together for the Sixth wicket partnership as they added 57 runs together. At one point a score below 100 looked like a possibility but the heroics of Fabian Allen helped them get to a total of 116. Fabian Allen was the top scorer as he smashed 50 runs in just 35 deliveries.
For TKR, Ravi Rampaul picked up 4 wickets, while Dupavillon, Hosein, and Narine took a wicket each.
In reply to the target set by the Tallawahs, TKR started off on a low as they lost Pooran and Webster without anything to show on the scoreboard. Munro and Tim Seifert then batted in an aggressive manner as TKR scored 41 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay. Colin Munro smashed the bowlers all around the park scoring a quick-fire 40 in just 28 deliveries. The openers departed in the powerplay itself. Munro was the top scorer for TKR as he scored 40 runs
