Milestone
That's a wrap from us!! We have had an one-sided affair in the middle of rain, as Barbados Royals bag the 2 points today. Royals will be in action against the Saint Lucia kings, as for the Trinbago Knight Riders they will face-off against the Jamaica Tallawahs on Saturday.

Hope you enjoyed our coverage, this is Shashank Surly signing off alongside my partner Ishan Lalwani and scorer Ashok. Please do join us for the next match between Saint Lucia Kings and the Jamaica Tallawahs starting in a few hours time. Until then goodnight and goodbye.
Player of the Match: David Miller [60 off 36 (4s -5/ 6s- 2)]
Barbados Royals come out victorious by 80 runs (DLS method), they were the only team that showed up today here at the Darren Sammy National Stadium at St Lucia, as they have completely annihilated the Trinbago Knight Riders in all facets of the game. Barbados maintain their perfect start to their campaign as with three wins in three.

Skipper Pollard decided to put the Royals into bat first, the opening duo of Kyle Mayers (52 off 33) and Quinton de Kock (44 off 34) set the best platform possible, both added 85 runs for the first wicket. Then it was skipper David Miller, whose exceptional knock of 36-ball 60, along with cameos from Azam Khan and Jason Holder took the Royals to a massive 194.

Tribago Knight Rider were abysmal in their reply, their top 7 batters score read as follows: 7,7,12,8,1,1 and 9; only Colin Munro made it to the double figures. Their top order got blown away inside 4 overs, then rain interrupted play for a while, play resumed with TKR on 31/3, but Devon Thomas struck twice in his first over right after the break getting rid of Tim Seifert (1 off 4) and Kieron Pollard (1 off 2).

After the powerplay, TKR's score was 42/6, the worst ever in the Caribbean Premier League history. Later Andre Russell (9 off 10) fell cheaply to Oshane Thomas, which just about buried all hopes of a miracle for TKR. When they were at 51/7 after 8 overs rain just got heavier and heavier, and the game was called off officially.

Coming to the Barbados Royals bowling performance, all were equally good, everyone stepped up for their skipper, Devon Thomas (2/4 off 1 over), Oshane Thomas (2/18 off 2 overs) and Obed McCoy (2/11 off 2 overs) caused havoc on the TKR batting lineup, while Jason Holder got the wicket of the top scorer Colin Munro.
23:43 IST | UPDATE: The play has been called off officially!! Both captains were seen shaking hands.
23:29 IST | Not great signs, the rain is getting heavier and the water has logged on to the outfield, sights of any resumption of play is looking very bleak at the moment. Stay tuned for further updates.
23:19 IST | Barbados Royals are 80 runs ahead on DLS at the moment and it is fair to assume that if the match doesn't resume they will be winners eventually.
23:07 IST | The rain has returned again unfortunately. The umpires has called in for the covers. The crowds boo as the players slowly walk off the ground. The rain looks to be heavier than the previous time and will likely be bit longer than before. Stay tuned for further updates.

0-2(1.0)
7.6 H Walsh to K Pierre
0 Full ball on the stumps, defended back to the bowler.
7.5 H Walsh to K Pierre
0 Beaten, it pitches fuller on the stumps, turned away from the left-hander who was well beaten.
7.4 H Walsh to A Phillip
1 Full ball outside off, mistimed that towards cover for a run.
7.3 H Walsh to A Phillip
0 Fuller on the stumps, defended back to the bowler.
7.2 H Walsh to K Pierre
1 Fuller outside off, played towards long-off for a run.
Phillip looks for the sweep shot, misses and gets rapped on the pads, is given not out, Royals review it, nothing on ultra-edge, pitching is outside off, impact is in line and wickets shows umpires call, and the decision stays Not Out.
7.1 H Walsh to A Phillip
1lb Fuller on the stumps, he missed the line and it hit him on the pads but that is just clipping the top of the leg stump, they had gone for a review but due to the umpire's call he survives.
