So that's it from our side, Hope you enjoyed all the action on our network as Derbyshire gets a huge win here at Leicester. The cricketing action continues on our network so you can now switch the tabs to enjoy more and more cricket. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentator Nikhil Kalla and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
With that wicket of Parkinson, it's the end of the match here at Grace Road, Leicester. Derbyshire beat Leicestershire by an innings and 68 runs. Great resistance was shown by the Derbyshire batters on the last day but that wasn't enough to level the game. Anuj Dal came in and picked up the wicket in his first ball of the day. With that Derbyshire moves to second position on the points table of division 2.

In the first innings, the home side managed to put on 213 onboard on a good batting track and that's where they lagged in the game. Replying to Leicestershire's first innings total Derbyshire posted a huge score of 531 with the help of a stupendous double century from the bat of Shan Masood who continued his great form in this season. Mckiernan and Madsen also batted really well and propelled the total to go past 500.

Trailing by a huge margin in the second innings Leicestershire's top order again failed to get the scoreboard to get going as they lost 6 wickets at the end of day 3. The rest of the batters showed some resistance on the last day but that wasn't enough for them to save the match. Thomson picked up 3 wickets in the second innings as he bowled really well at the end of day 3. Suranga Lakmal and Anuj Dal picked up a couple of wickets and helped their team to go past the winning line.

W WICKET!!! That's it that's the game for Derbyshire. The first ball is bowled by Anuj Dal in the day and he picks up the wicket. He gets that one in the perfect spot and picks up the wicket. Parkinson misses it out on the well-deserved half-century. Anuj hits the good length a tad outside the off. The ball moves a bit in towards the batter after pitching. Parkinson goes across the woods to play that one down the ground but the ball sneaks past the inside edge of the bat and it goes on to hit the front pad. Huge appeal and it has been given by the umpire. He departs for 49 and Derbyshire beats Leicestershire by an innings and 68 runs.
