Harsh:  So here we sign off for today and will meet you tomorrow with some more exciting games from all over the world. I would like to thank my co-commentator and scorer AkshayaKrishna Polya, Saptak Sanyal, and Dushyant Kumar for their contribution. I hope you all liked our live commentary, will meet you all soon, till then take care and have a very good night.
Harsh: It was all about the sensible batting by Compton who toiled hard after each wicket and managed well to get his team over the line for their first win. It wasn't a great start by the Kent batsman, they lost their first two wickets quite early. Muyeye who was playing some amazing shots got out on the outside off delivery of Buck. George scored only one run and got bowled by Buck again. A handy third-wicket partnership between Captain Denly and Compton shifted the game towards Kent. The solid 83 runs partnership of 101 balls set the game for Kent. Denly got out on his personal score of 42 while lifting the ball over mid-wicket. None of the batsmen looked as comfortable as Compton there, fifth wicket partnership of 40 runs between Compton and Blake took the game more closer for Kent.

Northants bowler bowled really well in the game, took two early wickets but didn't manage to get the key wicket of Compton. Fast bowler played their role very well but it was the spinners who took regular wickets in the middle overs. For Kent, it was the magic of Qadri who took 4 wickets in his 10-over spell and gave away only 36 runs. Northants were 50-60 runs short in their batting,  if they would have scored near about 260 they would have challenged the Kent batsman really well.

Well, it was a very good game of cricket there by both the teams, Kents batsman Compton was very beautiful today and batted very sensibly till the end. Northants bowlers were quite good with their skills but due to less run on the board, they didn't manage to put the pressure on the Kent batsman. Kent wins the match by 4 wickets.

42.6 B Glover to H Qadri
4 FOURRR!!! AHH!!! Glover was disappointed here but Kent has triumphed with that. Fuller length delivery and outside the off. Qadri on the front foot throws his hands at it and the ball takes the bat's outside edge as it flies in the gap between wide first slip and wicketkeeper for a streaky boundary. I cannot say that Qadri has finished it in style, but he has done enough to get through the victory line. We always talk about the position of the first slip. And it again had an impact on this game. I remember a couple of the same edges flying through the same gap in the first innings. For now, it is done and dusted as Kent has beaten Northants by four wickets.
42.5 B Glover to H Qadri
0 Too full on the stumps. Qadri does well to push it out towards the fielder at mid-off.

42.4 B Glover to B Compton
W WICKETTT!!! What an anticlimax end to a brilliant innings' from the Kent opener Ben Compton. He deserves a standing ovation and he gets it. With two runs needed, the southpaw perishes in trying to fi ish things off in style. Back of a length delivery and angling away outside the off. Compton on the back foot is early into the cut and ends up playing at it from the bottom half of the bat. It balloons straight into the fielder at short extra covers. Emilio Gay there takes a simple catch and Compton is back to hut at his score of 87.
42.3 B Glover to J Evison
1 A low full toss on the pads. Evison on the front foot glances it down to the backward square leg region for a single.
42.2 B Glover to J Evison
4 FOURRR!!! Kent is one hit away from the victory. Fuller length delivery a shade outside the off. In the driving arc and has been driven away for a boundary. Evison on the front foot slaps that through the extra covers for a cracking boundary. Just three to win.
42.1 B Glover to J Evison
0 Fuller length delivery on the off-stump line. Evison on the front foot drives it straight to the fielder at mid-off.

41.6 N Buck to B Compton
2 Good length delivery down the leg, Compton flicks it towards fine leg area and gets the couple of runs. Good piece of fielding in the deep, uses the boot to stop the ball.
41.5 N Buck to B Compton
0 Short-of length delivery on the stumps, Compton leaves it.
41.4 N Buck to B Compton
0 Good length delivery on the off stump, Compton defends it straightaway towards the bowler.
41.3 N Buck to J Evison
1lb Fuller length delivery on the pads, Evison looking to flick it got hit straight onto the pad and gets the leg bye single.
Akshaya: The fielder at cover-point misfields and almost allows it to go through for a boundary. But the fielder recovers well to keep it to just two runs. That extra run allows Kent to get to 200!
41.2 N Buck to J Evison
2 Good length delivery outsdie off, Evison pushes it towards cover point for a couple of runs there. A missfield in the deep.
