Chasing 91 for the win, the Rudras started off solidly. Shiva Singh was out of the blocks and scored 22 off 15 balls. Captain Karan Sharma held one end up and scored an unbeaten 24* off 27 balls. Almas Shaukat the Impact Player scored an unbeaten 39* off 31 balls as the victory target was achieved in 12 overs. 6 extras were given by the fielding side.
The Kanpur Superstars had a very low score to defend and tried too hard. Only Pankaj Kumar picked up the solitary wicket to fall. But they had too less of a score to defend.
