The Winning Moment for India B πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
Abhimanyu Easwaran (India B Captain): "Well to start the season with a win feels really amazing. I think I was a bit gutted to lose the toss and from there we were down to 90/7 but the way Musheer and Navdeep built up that partnership was really top class for us.

Yeah we have a really good pace attack and a couple of good spinners as well in our side who did a fantastic job for us. Well we have 3 days time before our next time so first of all we would like to rest a couple of days and then we will see how it goes."
Musheer Khan (Player of the Match): "Ma'am first of all I prepared a lot with my father and I knew the opportunity will come for me so really glad with the way I performed in this test match. Well the discussion with Navdeep Saini was just to play out the remaining balls I give him in the over and I was constantly talking to him to give him confidence as well.

Well, for the first time I was doing fielding at short leg and I was glad to do my job really well. (On the final run out) I informed to my skipper that Akash Deep bhaiya was clearly out because he was way outside the crease and I was confident."
Player of the Match : Musheer Khan
Shubman Gill (India A Captain): "Thank you so much (wishing him happy birthday). Yeah definitely the last session of Day 1 and first session of Day 2 was the game changing moments for us. The bowlers got tired because the season just began and Musheer batted brilliantly in the first Innings.

Yeah we should have planned a bit better I felt. We went on the short ball plan to Saini a bit later and that turned out to be costly for us. Well despite being behind in the game, I think we fought back well in the 2nd Innings.

Well we definitely thought of chasing down this target. We required a 100 run partnership badly to keep ourselves in the game for the run chase. When KL Rahul and Kuldeep were batting, we were hoping if they can stick around because you never know, Rahul bhaiya can pull it off for us especially he is so good at this venue. We didnot get so nevermind we will learn from this one."

16:16 IST & Local Time| Thats the end of the match between India A and India B as the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led side win the contest by 76 runs.

A brilliant test match comes to an end. On Day 1, India B were put into bat by Shubman Gill in a green top pitch at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. India B were in all sorts of trouble on Day 1 as they were down to 94/7. Then came in the 8th wicket partnership between the centurion Musheer Khan (181 off 373) and Navdeep Saini (56 off 144) who added 205 runs together to get their side into a really good position. Young Musheer Khan was the standout performer in the Innings with a big hundred. Akash Deep was the pick of the bowlers with figures off 4/60.

India A walked out to bat and got off to a decent start. Lots of 30s in the Innings of India A but none could convert it into a big score. KL Rahul was the top run scorer with 37 runs to his name as India A were bundled out for 231. Navdeep Saini (3/60) and Mukesh Kumar (3/62) were the pick of the bowlers for India B as they had taken a 90 runs first Innings lead.

India B in the 2nd Innings with the bat, didnot get off to a good start. Some sensational seam bowling from the India A seamers saw India B down to 22/3. A quick fire partnership between Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan who added 72 runs together got India B into a really strong position.

With 4 wickets still in hand ahead of the final day, India A bowlers required to wrap up the Innings quickly in order to have enough overs to bat in order to chase down the target. They did that exactly by bowling India A out for 184 inside the first hour of Day 4. Akash Deep was the pick of the bowlers once again with figures off 5/56 as he picked 9 wickets in total in the match. The target for India A was 275.

With more than two sessions left to play, India A walked out to bat with some positive intent. They played their shots but lost an early wicket in the 2nd over as Mayank Agarwal was dismissed for 3. The 2nd wicket partnership between Riyan Parag and Shubman Gill looked promising however it didnot last long as one followed the other back to the pavilion.

KL Rahul looked solid at the middle but he was falling short of partners at the other end. He once again was the top run scorer in the Innings as he scored 57 off 121 deliveries. Akash Deep surprisingly was the 2nd highest scorer in the Innings. His knock of 43 included 3 Fours and 4 Sixes but it went in vain.

The bowlers of India B were terrific as all the main bowlers chipped in with wickets. The biggest take away from this encounter were the two wicket-keepers who were simply sensational behind the stumps. So India B start the Duleep Trophy with a win as they defeat India A by 76 runs and also take all 6 points from this game.

52.6 N Saini to A Deep
W Is that a Run Out?? Musheer Khan is really confident. Banged it short from Saini into the wicket, Akash Deep was really uncomfortable at the delivery, looking to block it somehow, gets it off the glove at one bounce to Musheer at short leg, Akash Deep had no clue where the ball went, Musheer picks it up and quickly gets the underarm throw at the stumps. Akash Deep puts in the full length dive but I feel he is short of his crease. The TV Umpire has been referred and Oh Yes, Akash Deep is well short of his crease. Thats it then as India A are bundled out for 198 and lose the encounter by 76 runs.
52.5 N Saini to A Deep
0 Back of a length delivery from Saini around the leg stump line, Akash Deep backs away for room, the ball keeps a touch low as he gets beaten on the outside edge swinging his bat across the line.
52.4 N Saini to A Deep
0 Yorker from Navdeep Saini at the stumps, 130 kmph, right on the blockhole as Akash Deep blocks it on the leg side.
52.3 N Saini to A Deep
0 Fuller delivery on the leg stump line, slower ball from Saini, 106 kmph, Akash Deep swings his bat, gets an inside edge down to long leg. He refuses to take the single.
52.2 N Saini to A Deep
0 Length ball outside off, slower ball from Saini, 101 kmph, Akash Deep throws the kitchen sink at it and misses.
52.1 N Saini to A Deep
6 SIXXXXX!! SMOKKEDDD!! Banged it short from Saini into the wicket around middle and leg, Akash Deep rocks back, takes it on and pulls it way over mid wicket for a Maximum.
