Well that's it from this match folks! Hop tabs to join our coverage of the second match in the double header today of Maharaja Trophy 2024!

This is Anirudh Modi, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh, and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav! See you on the next one!
Devdutt Padikkal (Gulbarga Mystics Captain): "We always knew that we have a couple of good fast bowlers on the bench, and there are so many games, so it's important to keep them fresh and it's good to see for them to show off their skill.

[On R Smaran] He gives us the confidence that we have capable batters in our lineup to win us the games. In the first couple of games, the batters weren't taking responsibility and we discussed that in our team meetings and the thought was to play our best cricket.

[On his dismisaal] When the umpire messes up it does not feel good but as long as we are winning and giving our team the start that we need, it does not matter."
