Karun Nair (Mysore Warriors Captain): "We needed to win this one. It is special to beat a team like Hubli Tigers. It was a brilliant effort from the bowlers. Really happy for Suchith. All the bowlers did well. They got off to a good start but our bowlers did well to restrict them. The only thing I need from the boys is 100% on the field and really happy today."

22:21 IST & Local Time | The Mysore Warriors beat the Hubli Tigers by 56 runs. A clinical victory for them. Hubli Tigers register their first defeat of the season. So, here is how this game panned out.
Opting to bowl first, the Tigers started off well but were a bit expensive in the middle overs. They did well to pull back things in the death and restricted the Warriors to just 165.
Manvanth Kumar and Kumar LR were the pick of the bowlers for them and picked up 3 wickets each. KC Cariappa also bowled well and picked up 2 wickets to his name.
With the bat, the Warriors were decent but will not be happy with the finish they got. Skipper Karun Nair was again impressive and played a solid knock of 66 runs off just 36 balls. In the end, Manoj Bhandage was also decent and scored 20 off 17.
Coming to the chase, the Tigers looked the favorites to win this one after the start they got in the first 2 overs but post that they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and could not play the spinners of the Warriors. Jagadeesha Suchith and Krishnappa Gowtham were the pick of the bowlers and picked up 4 and 2 wickets respectively.
With the bat, nothing much positive for the Tigers. Taha was good at the top and scored an impressive 22. The skipper did spend some time in the middle but could not stay around for long. In the end, they were bundled out for 109.
