That is the coverage of the tournament of Global T20 Canada. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Aditya Agarwal and Gourav Samal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Colin Munro (Captain Toronto Nationals): "We are grateful for this opportunity, and we are definitely trying our best to do our best, to score more runs and a few loose balls, we have to put our best foot forward, this lot has played together and I have faith in my team. We have practiced for these games for over a month. let's hope for better and better results. This win was just a start. I am happy with my team spirit and over all play, we could continue this high spirit till the end for sure."
Junaid Siddique (Toronto Nationals)- "This was the first game of the tournament and it's always great to start the campaign with a win. I enjoyed my bowling too and the second wicket which I took was the one that made me happy."
Player of the Match - Junaid Siddique
Usman Khawaja (Captain Vancouver Knights): "It  was a bit difficult to match the pace of the ball in the first innings. Credit to them, they batted really well. A score of 130 could have been better than just 110 on the board. We fell short by 20 odd runs, which could have helped our bowlers to capitalize on the surface. In Australia, the grounds are a bit bigger and the wickets are a bit better, so 160 or something around 200 is a good score to defend. A bit of luck could have helped us score some more runs and we could have then gone onto to defend it."
Time for the presentations.
Rassie Van der Dussen (Toronto Nationals)- "It was a good toss to win as we were a bit suspect of what the pitch would play. I love Toronto and it's a great city. I enjoy playing it here and enjoy playing for Toronto as well."
4:31 AM IST and 7:01 PM Local Time | That's the end of the match. Rassie van der Dussen scores the final run to help his team win the match by 8 wickets with 32 balls remaining.
