Player Bio

Another medium-fast bowler bursting through the scenes in the United Arab Emirates, Junaid Siddique is a player to always look out for. The pacer has been an active UAE international since his debut in 2019 and has a ton of variations that are well suited in sub-continent pitches.

Born in Multan and raised in the UAE, Siddique first earned a name during the 2021 season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league, where he was part of the title-clinching Northern Warriors and was the joint-second highest wicket-maker in the tournament.

The Multan born has every possible delivery in his quiver, ranging from a hard bouncer to booming incoming balls to toe-crusher yorkers and then are the cutters and slower ones. Siddique and his fast-bowling are the matches made in heaven for the dead and dry pitches in UAE.

The seamer made his T20I debut during the T20 World Cup Qualifiers, against Oman in October 2019. While he received his maiden ODI cap, a couple of months later, against the USA at Sharjah.

The UAE international has produced numerous match-winning spells for his country and the T10 franchise that indicates, if Siddique gets proper nurturing then he could offer a lot to the cricketing fraternity.
