That brings an end to our coverage of this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of Ninaad Dixit and scorer Raju Khariya. Bye Bye.
David Payne (Player of the Match): "All the boys bowled brilliantly and set the tone early in the match. Happy with the result.

We talked about we wanted to get West Country derby. One part of it is done and want to finish it with a win.

He's incredible. He has just come in and given belief to everyone and happy to see him get that Gloucestershire back on.

I'm fine. Just 33 years old limping. Little bit of food. Refuel and get back for the final. We will be looking to stay in front.

9:31 PM IST, 5:01 PM Local Time: That’s it. Gloucestershire have sealed a place in the final of the T20 Blast 2024 and will face Somerset. A solid all-around effort from them and they completely outplay the Sussex Sharks in the second semi-final. They win the game by eight wickets.

The tone was set by their bowlers by knocking over Sussex on 106. Chasing the modest total, Miles Hammond and Cameron Bancroft opened for Gloucestershire. Hammond struggled a bit and holed out in the deep on seven. Bancroft looked solid at the crease and played some wonderful strokes. He was well-supported by James Bracey as both kept Sussex at bay.

Bancroft scored 39 off 35 balls before departing in the 11th over. James Bracey continued playing his strokes at the other end and made sure that he took his side across the line. He remained unbeaten on 49 off 28 balls to take Gloucestershire across the line in 13.4 overs with eight wickets in hand. Bradley Currie and James Coles picked up a wicket each for Sussex but there weren't enough runs on the board to defend.

Earlier, Sussex elected to bat first and the decision backfired. They got off to a worst possible start as they lost four wickets inside the powerplay, with only 35 runs on the board. John Simpson (12) and Fynn Hudson-Prentice (13) got starts but fell in quick succession as they were reeling at 64/7.

Ollie Robinson scored 14 before holing out in the deep. Jack Carson top-scored with 26 for Sussex as they got bundled out on 106 in 18.1 overs. Matt Taylor and Tom Price picked up three wickets apiece. Oliver Price also grabbed two scalps as they completed a dominant performance with the ball. Their batters then stepped up and chased down the total without much fuss.
13.4 J Carson to J Bracey
6 SIXXX!!!! James Bracey finishes things in style. Tossed up delivery outside off, Bracey steps out of the crease to get to the pitch of the ball and smashes it straight over the long off fence for a biggie. Puts an end to this fixture as Gloucestershire beat Sussex comprehensively by eight wickets.
13.3 J Carson to O Price
1 Full on the stumps, swept away towards deep backward square leg for a single.
13.2 J Carson to J Bracey
1 High in the air and dropped!!! Robinson has dropped a sitter. Flighted delivery on the stumps, Bracey looks to finish it in style. He launches it high in the air but doesn't get the required distance. Robinson at long on settles under this but puts it down.
13.1 J Carson to O Price
1 Good length outside off, 102 kmph, Price reverse sweeps it to short third man for a single.
100 comes up for Gloucestershire. They require only 7 runs to win in as many overs.

12.3 J Coles to J Bracey

12.2 J Coles to J Bracey
4 FOUR!!! Coles tosses this up outside off, Bracey takes a stride forward to take it on full and drive it beautifully in the gap between covers and mid off for a boundary. The latter gives up the chase.
