After losing the toss and put into bat first, skipper Shaik Rasheed and Pitta Arjun Tendulkar opened the innings for Coastal Riders. While Arjun was dismissed cheaply for 6 from 9 balls, Rasheed along with Abhishek Reddy put up a 51 runs partnership for the second wicket. Reddy managed to score 35 from 22 balls and Rasheed went on to complete his half century as he scored 67 from 47 balls. Dharani Kumar and Maddila Harsha Vardhan, both the batters added 14 runs from 13 balls. Towards the end, Karthik Raman remained unbeaten on 19* from 9 balls and helped his team to post a score of 170/6 in 20 overs.
For Bezawada Tigers, Kavuri Saiteja picked 2/35 in 4 overs. Harishankar Reddy, Shambu Akhil and Lalith Mohan picked one wicket each in the innings.
Chasing a target of 171 on the board, Kommineni Maheep Kumar and Dhruva Kumar Reddy opened the innings for Bezawada Tigers. Maheep could only manage to make 9 from 9 balls before getting dismissed. Kothakoona Lakshman scored 10 from 11 balls. Skipper Ricky Bhui played a fantastic knock of 34 from 28 balls, while Dhruva scored 45 from 29 balls.
