21:45 IST and Local time | The defending champions Rayalaseema Kings win by seven wickets with five overs to spare. This has been a supreme effort from them and they've comprehensively demolished the Coastal Riders. They've chased down the target and they finish off with 153/3 in 15 overs.
The Kings began in supreme fashion and they meant business right from the word go. They were determined to make light work of this total. The Riders bowlers were all over the place as Haneesh Reddy and Kumar went berserk early on. The duo put up 51 inside the powerplay before Reddy was out.
Roshan Kumar dominated post the powerplay and despite the fall of Prasanth Kumar's wicket he continued to attack the spinners and smashed them for some might sixes. He eventually fell just three short of his fifty as he departed for 47 but the damage was done by then and the Kings had the target well within their grasp.
In the end it was the pair of Vamsi Krishna and Sravan who put up a 35 run stand for the fourth wicket and saw their team through comfortably. Karthik Raman picked up a couple of wickets but he took some real pounding. The same applies for Shaikh Abdullah who went for 34 runs in his three overs and returned with one scalp. The rest of the bowlers were belted around the park and could barely make an impact.
