That's it from this game. We will be back tomorrow for Trinbago Knight Riders up against Guyana Amazon Warriors at the same venue. Stay tuned to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Hayley Matthews (Barbados Royals Women Captain and Player of the Match): "There was a bit in it for the bowlers for both teams. We started well. Afy controlled things and others chipped in and TKR recovered but we had it under control.

Yes, I played my shots through the off-side and that helped me do well. A bit of both. The wicket is two paced. Just applied myself and did well.

Yes, good. We were bad in the field yesterday. We have improved and the bowling has improved and restricting them to below 120 is a great effort.

Hopefully, Georgia will be alright, we have depth in squad and confident about it. Qiana did well and Alleyne did well. Laura Harris did well as well.

I think we will take time to regroup and put us in good positions. We will look to win and give others a go as well. Looking to do well."
Player of the Match: Hayley Matthews.
Deandra Dottin(Trinbago Knight Riders Women Captain): "To be honest it was a bit two paced and it was spongy in nature. I think we failed to have a good partnership and we ended up being 20 runs short in the board.

In the bowling, we gave them too much width and they capitalized. Fielding is an area what we need to improve. We have to make the turn around quickly as we have another game tomorrow.
Time for the post-match presentations.
7:41 AM IST, 10:11 PM Local Time: That's it. A commanding win for Barbados Royals Women as they thump the Trinbago Knight Riders Women by 7 wickets with 17 balls to spare. It is the Hayley Matthews show again as the skipper has scored back-to-back unbeaten fifties and guided her side to 2 wins in 2 games. TKR Women just did not have enough runs on the board.

Chasing 114 for the win, the Royals lost Chamari Athapaththu early. But it was skipper Hayley Matthews who led from the front and scored a magnificent unbeaten 67* off 56 balls and took her side home. Qiana Joseph scored 16 while Aaliyah Alleyne scored 11. Laura Harris remained unbeaten on 14* off 7 balls. 3 extras given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 17.1 overs.

Jess Jonassen picked up a couple of wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs. A wicket also to Anisa Mohammed as well. But they had very less runs to defend today.

Earlier in the game, Trinbago Knight Riders Women were asked to bat first by Barbados Royals Women and struggled from the get go. Kycia Knight and Harshitha Samarawickrama fell cheaply. Jemimah Rodrigues scored 16 off 11 balls. Skipper Deandra Dottin scored 28 off 26 balls. They were in trouble at 57/6 in 10 overs. But they recovered a tad due to the partnership between Shikha Pandey and Zaida James. Pandey top scored with 30 off 34 balls while James scored 22 off 18 balls. 6 extras given by the fielding side as the Knight Riders ended with 113/9 in 20 overs.

All the bowlers bowled well for Barbados Royals Women. Amanda-Jade Wellington was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/14 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets apiece for Chinelle Henry and skipper Hayley Matthews. A wicket apiece for Qiana Joseph and Aaliyah Alleyne. All in all, a great all round display with the ball from the Royals.

So, Barbados Royals win this game by 7 wickets and make it 2 wins out of 2 games and they are at the top of the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.
