That's all from the 6th and Final  T20I encounter of the Tri-Series between Ireland and Netherlands.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentator Soumarya Dutta who, along with scorer/analysts Manish Bishnoi brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: George Dockrell
Ireland had already won the Tri-Series before this encounter after defeating Scotland yesterday but they maintained their unbeaten run in this series after defeating Netherlands by just 3 runs today.

Scotland ended up at 2nd Spot with just 1 win in their 4 games including a washed-out encounter against Ireland followed by Netherlands who ended up at the bottom of the points table with just 2 points.
17:46 IST and 14:16 Local time - Craig Young holds on to his nerve and Ireland have won by the barest of margins here! They win by 3 runs and end the series without a defeat! They've also done themselves a world of good in the process as they've almost booked themselves an automatic spot in the 2026 T20 World Cup. Netherlands lost too many wickets at the death and Bas de Leede couldn't get going in the final over when they needed the big shots.

The Dutch got off to a really good start in the powerplay and they got off to 49 without losing any wicket. Levitt took his time early on but it was O'Dowd who unleashed himself on the seamers and found the gaps with ease. Levitt levelled up and started to bring out the big shots too and it was the home side all the way as the pressure increased on the Irish who were desperate to get the breakthrough.

It was the leg spinner Gareth Delany who got them the breakthrough as he got rid of Levitt in the 9th over. He was out for a well made 39 and it was a much needed one for the Irish! It helped them to slow things down just a bit as Vikramjit Singh joined Max O'Dowd at the crease. At the halfway mark of the innings Netherlands needed 87 runs to win from the final 10.

The partnership between O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh put Netherlands ahead of the game as Delany, White and Dockrell couldn't provide the breakthroughs for Ireland. O'Dowd got to his 50 and Netherlands were cruising at that stage but Craig Young broke the partnership to send O'Dowd back and brought Ireland back into the contest.

It triggered the collapse as Netherlands lost a flurry of wickets and couldn't get home in the end. Craig Young was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up two wickets for 35 but it was Mark Adair's double strike that proved to be the game changer for Ireland. Gareth Delany was the only other bowler to pick up a wicket.
