Player Bio

A former member of the New Zealand U19 World Cup squad in 2010, Logan van Beek is a Kiwi-Dutch cricketer who made his Netherlands debut in 2014.

A right-arm medium-pace bowler, Van Beek represented the Netherlands at the 2014 U19 World Cup and is the grandson of former Test cricketer, Sammy Guillen, who played for both West Indies and New Zealand.

He made his debut in a T20I match against UAE, getting hammered for 30 runs in just 3 overs.

In the 2015 Plunket Shield tournament, he scored his maiden first-class century and two years later bagged his maiden ten-wicket haul in the same tournament.

In 2018, Van Beek signed a deal with English county club Derbyshire for the 2019/20 domestic season.

The former New Zealand player is a valuable asset to any side because of his ability to ball at a decent speed and also chip in with few runs.
