Put to bat first, Scotland posted a total of 158 runs. They batted very well in the powerplay and middle overs but failed to get a strong finish. Skipper George Munsey was brilliant at the top of the order and scored 72 off just 44 balls.
For Netherlands, they would be happy with how their bowlers performed and restricted Scotland to below 160. Logan Van Beek was the pick of the bowlers and picked up 3 wickets to his name.
Coming to the chase, It was all about Scotland and their top notch bowling. Netherlands' batters never looked going and failed to build partnerships in the middle. Bas de Leede and Scott Edwards batted decently and scored 27 and 29 runs respectively.
