That's it. Thank you for joining us! On behalf of my co-commentators Deepak-Akshaya and scorers Manish-Paras, I, Sidharth, say goodbye! Cheers!
DID YOU KNOW- The 29 runs scored by RCB (Jacks 28 & Kohli 1) off a Rashid Khan over marks the highest runs scored off a Rashid Khan over by any team in IPL history. The previous record was 27 runs by Punjab Kings in Mohali in 2018, with Gayle scoring 26 runs and Karun Nair adding 1 run.
Jacks reached his century from 50 runs in just 10 balls, setting a new record for the fastest fifty to hundred conversion in IPL history. The previous record was held by Gayle, who achieved it in 13 balls against PWI in Bengaluru in 2013.
Instances of teams winning with the most balls to spare while chasing 200+ targets in the IPL:

24 RCB vs GT Ahmedabad, TODAY

21 MI vs RCB Wankhede 2023

15 DC vs GL Delhi 2017

12 MI vs SRH Wankhede 2023
Fastest IPL centuries by balls faced:

Chris Gayle: 30 balls vs PWI in Bengaluru, 2013

Yusuf Pathan: 37 balls vs MI in Mumbai, 2010

David Miller: 38 balls vs RCB in Mohali, 2013

Travis Head: 39 balls vs RCB in Bengaluru, 2024

Will Jacks: 41 balls vs GT in Ahmedabad, TODAY
Will Jacks (Player of the Match): "Amazing feeling. Faf (du Plessis) and Virat (Kohli) got us off to a good start. I struggled early on, Virat kept his intensity up and I had the chance to get my rhythm. Once I got it, I got going.

"I was trying to be positive. I was probably trying to overhit the ball early on, probably a little bit tensed.

"(On batting with Kohli) He's a legend of the game and he's someone everyone looks up to. To spend some time in the middle is a great feeling and a huge learning curve. When I go way from the IPL, I'll try to take all on board.

"It's about gathering confidence. I was a bit lucky (against GT)."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: WILL JACKS
Faf du Plessis (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain): "I felt it was a great wicket, and I believed it was a target we could pursue. However, I didn't expect us to chase it down within 16 overs. The last two matches have been excellent, and it seems like our confidence is growing. The guys are doing a very good job and we are doing the basis much better now."
Most Fours of the Match: Sai Sudharsan (8 fours)
Most Sixes of the Match: Will Jacks (10 sixes)
Fantasy Player of the Match: Will Jacks (151 points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Will Jacks (100 runs off 41 balls at a strike rate of 243.90)
Time for the post-match presentation....
RCB's highest successful chases in IPL:

204 vs PBKS Bengaluru 2010

201 vs GT Ahmedabad TODAY

192 vs RPS Bengaluru 2016

187 vs SRH Hyderabad 2023
Players with the most 500+ runs in an IPL:

7 David Warner

7 Virat Kohli

5 Shikhar Dhawan

5 KL Rahul
Virat Kohli (RCB): "Phenomenal. Initially, when he (Will Jacks) came out to bat, he was annoyed that he wasn't able to strike the ball as he wanted to. The only talk was to for him to stay calm. We know how explosive he can be when he gets going. I was really glad that I watched his knock from the other end.

"Towards the end of their innings, the wicket started settling a bit. It came on nicely in our innings. We never dropped below 10 an over.

"All people who talk about strike-rates and me not playing spin well, talk about these things (stats). It's just about doing my job. They can talk anything they want to. It's kind of muscle memory for me now.

"We wanted to step up for ourselves. We are attacking the game way more. That's the way we want to play our cricket. We want to continue with the same work. And it's not been up to the standard except in the last two games. It's about us as cricketers having some self-respect."
Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "You know, I think they displayed great hitting out there. However, having said that I believe we need to come up with better plans for the next match and practice executing them.

Well, you know, when you're batting, you might think about adding 15 to 20 runs here and there, but at the end of the day, what truly matters is how many runs you've actually scored. After the completion of 20 overs and reaching a score of 200, we thought that it was a good enough total for us to have a competitive match and mount a strong fightback. However, unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way we had hoped.

I believe we struggled to pick up wickets in the middle overs, which has typically been one of our strengths. That, in my opinion, was the defining moment of the match for us."
