Jonny Bairstow (Player of the Match): "We got off to a flier and Prabh got us going. We needed that and then they were off to a great start with Sunil at the top. Needed it badly.
"Yes, it was concerning with form but we took them on and carted them all over the park. We played Sunil Narine carefully and gave him respect.
"My mantra was to whack the ball. Full credit to Shashank as he showed his experience out there.

Prabhsimran Singh playing as Impact Player started it all with his 54 off 20 balls. Jonny Bairstow settled in and then was the star of the show with his unbeaten 108* off 48 balls. He got able support from Rilee Rossouw who scored 26 off 16 balls and Shashank Singh came in at Number 4 and scored a magnificent 68* off 28 balls. He played the perfect role of the finisher as Punjab Kings cruise to victory in 18.4 overs and win by 8 wickets. 6 extras given by the fielding side.
