Player Bio

Hailing from Punjab, Ramandeep Singh is one of the latest recruitments of Mumbai Indians (MI) for the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Mumbai-based franchise has signed the Indian batting all-rounder for INR 20 Lakhs in the 2022 mega-auctions.

Ramandeep was born on April 13, 1997, and made his T20 debut for Punjab against Haryana in the 2016-17 Inter-State T20 Tournament. He is a right-handed batter and a part-time medium pacer as well.

It took a few years of grind for the Punjab-based cricketer to make his List-A debut. However, the talented bloke made his debut for Punjab against Vidarbha in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT), and in the same season, he made his First-Class debut in the Ranji Trophy.

Ramandeep’s heroics for the Mohali U-16 team brought him into the limelight after scoring two centuries in the 2021 Punjab Inter-District Championship. The batting all-rounder is renowned for his big-hitting abilities and slowly made his way through age-group cricket, scoring runs for fun.

The Chandigarh-born will be seen in IPL 2022 for the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians. He will be hoping to showcase his calibre at one of the grandest stages.
