That’s all from our today’s coverage. This is Gourav Samal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Saptak Sanyal and Pritam Dey, along with scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned to us for all the cricketing actions around the world. Thank You. Good Night.
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain) : Yeah 100% we felt at the half way stage that we were 15-20 runs short but we knew the pressure we were able to put on Pakistan in the ODI Series, if we bowl really well today we have a chance to do the same tonight as well. The game was drifting away from us but after the 10th Over the way the girls fought back into the game was incredible. I told the bowlers to stay really disciplined and we have a chance to make a comeback in the game. Pakistan batters do like pace on the ball so after the first couple of overs, I just wanted spinners to be operated from both the ends. Karishma Ramharack over proved to be the turning point and I am very happy that we got over the line in this game."
Nida Dar (Pakistan Women Captain): “It wasn’t the best result for us but if we look at the positive side of the match, we bowled very well and took some good catches. We also started very well with the bat but lost some quick wickets in the middle that affected the run chase. Bowlers took the responsibility and delivery well by picking up regular wickets. In the coming games, we will look to take more responsibility as a batting unit.”
Karishma Ramharack (Player of the Match)- "We have a good bowling line-up and we were confident to defend the low total. We had a good start in the powerplay. I didn't plan much in my bowling spell. I just tried to hit the right areas and that paid off."

Time for the post-match presentations.
23:30 IST and 23:00 Local Time | After a well fought 40 overs by both the teams, West Indies Women won the match at the end to lead the five match T20I series 1-0.

Let's have a review of what happened in the match.

After winning the toss, West Indies Women elected to bat first. Skipper Hayley Matthews and Qiana Joseph opened the innings for the visitors. They faced an early setback as Matthews was dismissed in the second ball of the innings without opening her account. Shemaine Campbelle also couldn’t last longer on the crease. Stafanie Taylor and Joseph put up a partnership of 55 runs for the third wicket before Taylor was dismissed for 30 of 32 balls. Qiana Joseph managed to score 34 of 36 balls. Chedean Nation, Chinelle Henry and Afy Fletcher, all three of them managed to add 13 runs each during their stay on the crease to help their team score 122/9 in 20 overs.

For Pakistan, Fatima Sana was the pick of the bowler. She took 3/24 in her four overs. Diana Baig, Nida Dar and Tuba Hassan picked one wicket each in the innings.

With a target of 123 on the board, Gul Feroza and Sidra Ameen opened the innings for Pakistan. They added 37 runs for the first wicket before Ameen was dismissed for 23 of 17 balls. Feroza was the next to get dismissed for 13 of 17 balls. Muneeba Ali also looked good in the middle before losing her wicket for 18 of 20 balls. Skipper Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz looked to put up a partnership in the middle but both were dismissed in the same over by Ramharack. Nida scored 27 of 24 balls while Aliya scored 12 of 15 balls. At the end, Najiha Alvi remained not out for 7 of 8 balls but couldn’t help her team win the match.

For the West Indies, Karishma Ramharack was the pick of the bowlers. She took 4/15 in 4 overs. Qiana Joseph, Hayley Matthews and Afy Fletcher managed to pick one wicket each in the innings.

What a dramatic end to the match. Wicket of the very last of the innings. West Indies Women have managed to win the match by just 1 run. They lead the 5 match series 1-0.
WHOAAAAA!!!!! Connell keeps her nerves cool and bowls it in the right area and gets the reward. She forces Alvi to miss and Campbelle throws it perfectly at the stumps of the striker's end to run Tuba Hassan out. Agony for Pakistan and West Indies are certainly in the seventh heaven after winning the thriller!

W GONEEE!! West Indies win by 1 run. Back of a length way outside the off stump, Najiha just had to get some bat on it to run it down towards third-man for a boundary, she failed to connect and the keeper does a wonderful job by running out the non-striker who was trying to sneak a quick single to tie the game.
This is turning out to be more interesting. Two needed of the last ball. One for a Super Over.
Najiha Alvi!!!! What a time to get the boundary!!! She lofts it over extra cover and gets the boundary.
19.5 S Connell to N Alvi
4 FOURRR!! Thats the boundary Najiha and Pakistan needed. Fuller delivery around off stump, Najiha hits it over the mid-off fielder for a boundary. The extra cover fielder chases way towards the fence but the ball beats her. Is that a turning point of the match? Just 2 needed from the final ball!
Bowler gets down and extends her right hand but fails to get hold of the catch. Single taken.
19.4 S Connell to T Hassan
1 Fuller delivery outside off stump, Tuba hits it towards mid-off for a single.
Two runs more. Mid-on fielder runs backwards and stops the boundary. 7 is the ask from 3 balls, 6 for a super over!
