Well that's all from today folks! Join us back tomorrow as USA look to seal the series victory agains Canada in the 3rd T20I in this 5 match series!

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, and our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar! See you on the next one!
Monank Patel | Player of the Match & USA Captain: "As we planned, we wanted to check the first two overs and after that the ball was coming well onto the bat and we wanted to solidify our position in the powerplay. 230 on this wicket was a par score and we knew with crucial wickets we will win.

We have spoken about playing smart cricket, we are implementing a lot of plans we practice in the nets, so really happy about that. Going to India and practicing their really helped me and it's just about one innings to get back to form.

We want to play a fearless brand of cricket and it's important to back ourselves to do that. When we do, we win."
Saad Bin Zafar (Canada Captain)- "Our pace attack is still an inexperienced one. T20 is not an easy game and they are learning. I think we dropped a few chances, if we can reduce that we can do better. I got injured in the last game and my hand is not 100% fit right now. In this game, we focused on the match-ups. We saw that they struggle against off spin and we played more off spinners. I am happy with our batting. We approached the chase really well and that's our only take away from this game. Till the 15th and 16h over, we were in the game. Unfortunately we couldn't finish the game well but our batting was good. If we restricted them to 210, we could've been on the other side"
4:58 AM IST, 6:28 PM Local Time | USA seal back-to-back victories to take a 2-0 lead in this 5 match T20I series! USA defeat their neighbors Canada by 31 runs to continue their domination in the series!

Canada won the toss and elected to bowl first, and that decision backfired in a major way as the USA opening duo of Steven Taylor and Monank Patel scored twin half-centuries to establish a 104 run opening stand which was followed up by Gous' 57 runs off 35 balls, to help USA to a mammoth total of 230/3 after the first 20 overs.

Come the chase, Canada were under pressure from the get go which was amplified by Srimantha's golden duck in the first over. However, Johnson led the Canadian charge with a bruising 74 runs off 40 balls to keep Canada in the hunt.

However, they kept losing wickets at the other end, with the next highest being Harsh Thaker's unbeaten cameo of 34 runs off 17 balls. Harmeet Singh was the pick of the bowlers for his figures of 2/14 after 2.4 overs while Netravalkar and Schalkwyk both chipped in with a couple of wickets as well.

In the end, Canada fell 31 runs short but they will proud of the batting prowess shown by some of their batters today and they will hope to build on that.

The warm up to the T20I world cup continues between the host nation USA and Canada. USA with a firm 2-0 lead in the series, will look to close out the series in the 3rd T20I.
THAT'S IT!!!!! United States have secured a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series against Canada. Both the teams have displayed a terrific performance today and in the end, it is USA who is coming out with flying colours.
