A talented middle-order batsman and a useful gloveman, Monank Patel is a professional cricketer for the USA. Born and brought up in India, Monank used to play age-group cricket for Gujarat and was also a part of Gujarat’s U-19 setup.

After being named in United States’ squad for the ICC World T20 Americas qualifiers, he finished as the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 208 runs in 6 matches. A clinical show in his debut tournament earned him a spot for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers in which he stole the show scoring a century in the tournament opener against Oman.

The 28-year old was named in the US’ squad for their debut ODI on April 27th, 2019 against Papua New Guinea and has been a permanent feature in the US’ limited-overs side since.
