That's it. Thank you for joining us! On behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh and scorer Raju, I, Sidharth, say goodbye! Cheers!
Deepti Sharma(Player of the Match): " I just backed my strengths and shots, and read the situation accordingly and played the shots. We were thinking just as a set batter how to keep it tight against them and give fewer runs, I like to be in challenging situations while bowling. I know Shikha plays down the track, I was ready for the caught and bowled. I want to keep the things same and want to keep learning."
Player of the Match: Deepti Sharma
Alyssa Healy(UP Warriorz Skipper): " Yeah, look I just thought this is exactly the cricket right, I mean anything can happen, we played a practice game before the tournament and the same thing happened. We knew what we were doing, a great game, and that too on an international Women's Day. It's just that we didn't put on the partnerships in the middle, and we discussed getting to 150 at least, knowing that the wicket was a bit interesting I thought Deepti did really well. But we need to build more wickets. When they needed 2 runs off 2 balls, and we needed one wicket, we thought we could get over the line. The girls have done a very good job. Only Tahila McGrath can calm me down, I think she is the calmest person on the earth."
Sixes of the Match: Deepti Sharma
Electric Striker of the Match: Meg Lanning
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony!
Grace Harris (UP Warriorz): "I knew what I wanted to bowl. Luckily, I executed it. There weren't expectations from my bowling. But things worked. I knew I needed to be perfect from the first ball. A couple of dismissals swung the momentum in our favour. Saima (Thakor) bowled extremely well. She bowled a hard length and showed her competitive side. Happy with our fielding."
Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Skipper): "Obviously disappointed to not get the win. Cricket's a funny game. Full credit to UP Warriorz for their effort. I was the set batter. I needed to take it deeper. My wicket did put pressure on the other batters. Very frustrating. We should have won. We played well, took the game to full 40 overs, but there're parts where we can improve."
22:45 IST and Local Time | UP Warriorz hold their nerve, pull off a thrilling 1-run win over Delhi Capitals. The Alyssa Healy-led team stays alive in the competition. What a comeback! DC were in it, but capitulated towards the end.

Chasing a target of 139, Shafali Verma and skipper Meg Lanning got Delhi Capitals off to a quick start, before the former fell to Saima Thakor. Lanning then carried on and scored a half-century. Lanning’s knock, and contributions from Alice Capsey and Jemimah Rodrigues kept DC’s chase on track. With 28 required off 24 balls, things began to get tense with a Sophie Ecclestone over that only went for a solitary run. Jemimah then got out in the 18th over but it looked like things were back under control when Jonassen hammered a maximum and a boundary to bring the equation down to 15 off 12 balls. Deepti Sharma then bagged three wickets in the 19th over, including a hat-trick, and DC were under the pump. A dropped catch went for six off the first ball of the 20th over, but Grace Harris kept her cool and struck multiple times to help UP Warriorz get over the line.

Earlier, after opting to bat, UP Warriorz managed 138 - what looked like a below-par score. Kiran Navgire departed early, and Deepti Sharma, promoted to No. 3, found the going tough. With no consistent boundaries, Healy and Tahlia McGrath went for the big shots, but fell in quick succession. Deepti then found some form, but there wasn’t support from the other batters. Deepti’s 48-ball 59 helped UP Warriorz to a total they later successfully defended.
19.5 G Harris to T Sadhu
W What a game we have witnessed today!!! Who would have thought, that UP Warriorz Women could pull off this? They have snatched away the victory from the jaws of defeat. With this fantabulous victory, they stay alive in this tournament.

Tossed up delivery outside the off-stump line, Sadhu gets under the ball and looks to hammer it over the mid-on region, which was not needed at all, a single could have also done it for the Capitals. But Sadhu had different thoughts, she tries to go over the mid-on region but fails to time it and the ball goes into the hands of the fielder at mid-on. With this wicket UP Warriorz have won this game by 1 run.
