That's it from all of us for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of Anirudh Modi, Hitesh Peddurwar and scorer Raju Khariya. Until next time, cheers and good night.
Grace Harris (Player of the Match): "One ball at a time. I try not to get much frustrated. As I'm getting older, I feel I'm controlling my emotions well and try to see the ball and hit it.

I'm enjoying my time with UP Warriorz. I'm loving batting in the middle-order and finishing games and I love India.

I bowled too many slot balls tonight. I'm happy with how it is coming off the hand. It's still work in progress but I'm ready for anything and try to do most of it. Will try to bowl better in the next game.

Deepti and I have played together for a couple of times now. The right-hand and left-hand works for us. We complement each other really well and we keep backing our strengths. Hopefully, we will play together more and win games for our side going forward."
Player of the Match: Grace Harris
Alyssa Healy (UP Warriorz Women Skipper): "Yeah. I mean she (Harris) makes cricket look so easy. I thought we gave away too many runs in the last phase but we were happy to chase that total. 19 overs of spin does the trick for us tonight.

Our middle-order is doing the job for us tonight. The job for me and Kiran is to take down the opposition in the powerplay. We have quality players on the bench waiting to have a go.

We have got RCB here on Monday night. We are looking forward to facing them here. We almost got over the line in the first game and are really looking forward to that game."
Sintex Sixes of the Match: Grace Harris
Electric Striker of the Match: Grace Harris
Chamari Athapaththu: "Finally, I got the chance to play here. The girls and the support staff help me to play my natural game.

It’s a good wicket to bat on. I tried to execute the plans while bowling and try and bowl dot balls in the powerplay. Felt good while batting. Unfortunately, I failed to continue but Grace Harris played brilliantly and took us home.

I always talk with Grace. She is an amazing cricketer. She told me to play my natural game and she always inspires me. She has a great potential and kept backing me to play the natural game.”
Beth Mooney (Gujarat Giants Women Skipper): “Yeah. It was a good partnership. Phoebe and Ashleigh played some good knocks to take us to that total.

(On new opening partner) It was good. Wolvaardt was playing beautifully and hit some off the middle of the bat. She is a quality player and it was good to see her bat tonight.

We have seen the other teams have the set batters at the back end of the innings. That’s the goal for us. Some of us has to bat till the end and score 60-70 not out to take us to a good total.

We have played a different XI tonight. We have got quality players and we have to back them going forward. Meghna bowled well upfront but it’s about making the right decisions and picking up wickets in the powerplay.”
10:14 PM IST, Local Time: A pure domination from the UP Warriorz Women as they walk unscathed past the Gujarat Giants Women. They win the game by six wickets and make it two wins in a row. A lot to ponder for the Giants Women as they remain winless in the WPL 2024. They suffer their third loss in a row and need to get back to the drawing board quickly.

Chasing 143, he UP Warriorz Women got off to a flying start. Skipper Alyssa Healy played some fantastic shots while opening the batting. Kiran Navgire fell cheaply on 12 in the fifth over. Healy was cleaned up in the last over of the powerplay on 33. Chamari Athapaththu was joined by Grace Harris who came out all guns blazing.

The Warriorz Women kept scoring at above 10 rpo. Athapaththu, on her debut, looked good for her 17 before holing out in the deep. Shweta Sehrawat was knocked over on two in the 11th over. Harris kept going strong from one end and found regular boundaries. She brought up her fifty off just 30 balls. Harris and Deepti remained unbeaten on 60 and 17 respectively to take their side across the line in the 16th over with six wickets in hand. Harris' 33-ball knock comprised nine boundaries and two maximums.

Earlier, the Gujarat Giants Women were asked to bat first and they got off to a steady start. Beth Mooney and Laura Wolvaardt started cautiously. Both put 40 between them before Mooney fell on 16. Wolvaardt looked good at the crease before departing on 28. Harleen Deol struggled to get going and fell after a scratchy 24-ball 18.

Phoebe Litchfield was joined by Ashleigh Gardner and both started counter-attacking. The pair of Litchfield and Gardner put 52 between them off 31 balls for the fourth wicket. Gardner and Litchfield scored 30 and 35 respectively to take the Giants to a respectable total of 142. The Warriorz picked up five wickets in total, with Sophie Ecclestone registering figures of 3/20 in her four overs.
15.4 S Rana to G Harris
1 That's it. Grace Harris takes her side home with 26 balls to spare. Rana bowls it full on the stumps, Harris leans into it and drives it down the ground to long on for a single. With this, the UP Warriorz Women beat the Gujarat Giants Women by six wickets.
15.3 S Rana to G Harris
4 FOUR!!! Over the wicket, Rana bowls it shorter and offers width, Harris goes deep in her crease and cuts it powerfully in the gap between backward point and cover point for a cracking boundary. Just one required to win now.
15.2 S Rana to D Sharma
1 On a length outside off, Deepti mistimes the cut in front of backward point for a quick run.
15.1 S Rana to D Sharma
0 Shorter in length outside off, Deepti late cuts it straight to short third man who is placed a bit finer. No run.
