So, that's it from the coverage of this game. We will be back with more cricketing actions from across the globe and across formats tomorrow in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hiren Kumar alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Ottniel Baartman (Player of the match): "Yeah, i enjoyed bowling here. The bowlers set the tone for us at the top and was easier for me. I was looking for both line and length on this pitch. I bowled a length which was perfect for test cricket. Yeah, we compliment each other. On different surfaces we need to find out different lengths and today the wicket was a bit different."
Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Eastern Cape Captain): "Yes, probably didn't think this type of game. But we will take this win anyhow. We bowled really well. A lot of things went our way and the bowlers did really well out there and credit to them. The steep bounce is tough and can mess around the batters. Still the guys did their job and bowled in the right areas and lengths and got the job done in the end. Great for the changing room that they are getting the mojo now. Getting bonus points and now we are off to Pretoria in a couple of nights which will be a tough game for us. So, the boys are excited and peaking at the right time. Thank You."
Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals Captain) - "I actually do not know where to start. We lost our top 4 wickets early. I think it was a mix of both good bowling and also the pitch. We can try and find reasons for it. Yeah, I and Kyle had a chat to get the score above 100 but we couldn't. Obviously being bowled out for 40-odd and it is never defendable. As i said, i haven't see both the teams getting a low total. May be if we got a hattrick in the first over we could be in the game"
Time for the presentations.
11:04 PM IST, 7:34 PM Local Time: A comprehensive win for the home team Sunrisers Eastern Cape as they thrash the Pretoria Capitals by 9 wickets with 13.1 overs to spare and they get a bonus point as well. They improve their Net Run Rate as well. They have outplayed the Capitals in all facets of the game and deserve the win tonight.

Chasing a paltry 53 for the win, Sunrisers did lose Dawid Malan early. But that was the only hiccup they suffered. Tom Abell came out all guns blazing and was unbeaten on 31* off 22 balls while Jordan Hermann was unbeaten on 20* off 17 balls. The victory target was achieved in 6.5 overs with 2 extras given by the fielding side.

Pretoria Capitals had nothing really to defend today. Their bowlers tried too hard which was understandable and only their skipper Wayne Parnell got a wicket. Only 3 bowlers were used and Parnell finished with 1/19 in 2 overs.

Earlier in the game, Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pretoria Capitals had nothing going their way as they were blown away for the lowest score in SA20 history. The openers got into double figures with Phil Salt scoring 10 while Will Jacks top scored with 12. The rest of the batters could not get into double digits as they fell like nine pins today. 3 extras given by the fielding side as they were blown away for 52 in 13.3 overs.

It was an exhibition of pace bowling from the Sunrisers bowlers as they did all the damage. 4 bowlers were used and all were pacers. Ottniel Baartman was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/12 in 3.3 overs. Daniel Worrall started it off with figures of 3/22 in 4 overs at the top and mainly inside the powerplay. Marco Jansen chipped in with a couple of wickets for 11 runs in 3 overs. Patrick Kruger picked up a wicket as well as he finished with 1/5 in 3 overs. All in all, a great bowling display by the Orange Army.

So, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape win this by 9 wickets and with the bonus point and an improvement in Net Run Rate, they climb upto 2nd in the points table. Pretoria Capitals are right at the bottom of the points table. Stick around for the presentations coming your way soon.

End of the powerplay. Sunrisers Eastern Cape are cruising towards the win. They are 45/1 chasing 53 for the win. Dawid Malan fell early but the duo of Hermann and Abell have almost done the job for their side. It is a matter of time before the win is achieved and the bonus point as well.
