That brings the curtains on our coverage of this BPL game between the Rangpur Riders and Chattogram Challengers. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Hitesh and our Scorer/ Analyst, Raju Khariya. See you soon!
Nurul Hasan (Rangpur Riders Captain): " First of thanks to all players. Now we are looking for the next round. The wicket it swinging early and the way Hasan played well. We know out bowling ability and everyone is calm and we did our job. We have two matches in this round and will do better and go further."
Man of the Match: Mahedi Hasan.
Mahedi Hasan, Player of the match -  "It was a bit of a struggle early on as the wicket was helping the seamers. Shakib did really well early on and I got some momentum with the bat in the beginning. I have managed to put up some great partnerships with Shakib in the last few games. There are a lot of all rounders in our side and we have been doing well together."
22:02 IST, 22:32 Local time- Rangpur Riders hold their nerve in the end and win this game by 18 runs. They've sealed a spot in the playoffs and the Chattogram Challengers end up with 169/6 in their 20 overs. It was a Romario Shepherd special as he hammered the bowlers all over the park and scored a dazzling 66 from just 30 balls. Unfortunately for him he had far too much work to do and he couldn't take his side over the line.

The Chattogram Challengers were off to a disastrous start as Dwayne Pretorius cleaned up the top order inside the powerplay. He got rid of Tanzid, Shykat and Josh Brown all of whom were deceived by his variations and changes of pace. The recovery job was started by Tom Bruce and skipper Shuvagata Hom who promoted himself up the order.

The pair took their time early on as the going became tough on a surface where the ball was gripping. They started playing some shots in their 45 odd partnership but Hom holed out in the deep in the quest of some quick runs. Tom Bruce followed suit and the Challengers were in deep trouble as they had lost half their side.

Mahedi Hasan and Dwayne Pretorius were the pick of the bowlers for Rangpur Riders. They managed to pick up five wickets between themselves and kept the pressure on the opposition batters. Shakib Al Hasan went wicketless but he chipped in with a tidy spell in a high scoring game. James Neesham went for a few runs but he did well in the end to hold on to his nerve.

4 FOUR RUNS!!! Good length delivery on the outside off, Shepherd waits back inside the crease and lifts that over the mid-off fielder for four runs. Shepherd's knock goes in vain as Rangpur Riders have won this game by 18 runs!
19.5 J Neesham to R Shepherd
0  Fuller length delivery on the outside the off stump line, Shepherd tries to go big as he swings his bat but misses it.
19.4 J Neesham to R Shepherd
0 Short of a length delivery on the outside the off stump line, Shepherd stands deep inside the crease and goes for the pull but misses it.
19.3 J Neesham to R Shepherd
4 FOUR RUNS!!! Fuller length delivery on the outside the off stump line, Shepherd goes for the big shot but gets an edge and flies over the third man for four runs.
And with that dot ball, the Rangpur Riders have the game in their pocket! Neesham just needs to keep his foot within the popping crease now.
19.2 J Neesham to R Shepherd
0 Again a good yorker on the leg stump line, Shepherd covers the stumps line and looks to flick but misses it and gets it on his pad.
19.1 J Neesham to R Shepherd
2 A good yorker delivery on the pads, Shepherd whips it towards the deep square leg for a couple of runs.
James Neesham [3.0-0-32-0] comes back into the attack.
