That's it from our coverage of the WBBL eliminator. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. This was Ninaad Dixit, Akshay Bhide and Zeeshan Naiyer bringing you all the action from WACA.
Amelia Kerr (Player of the Match): "Always nice to win these games and get a chance to go and win the title. We probably wanted to bowl first because we didn’t know how the wicket would behave but the girls did a fine job to post a good total on the board. The pacers also bowled well in the second half of the match.

Harris just did what she does the best. I tried to hit in different parts of the ground using my hands. The other batters came out and took the pressure of me and it was nice to contribute today.

The pitch was actually a bit difficult to bat on. The pacers used a lot of slower deliveries and did a fine job. They came back in the Power Surge and bowled beautifully. The Scorchers have got world-class players and it will be about sealing the big moments tomorrow and we can’t wait for tomorrow’s clash."

5:20 PM IST, 7:50 PM Local Time: Brisbane Heat will face the Perth Scorchers tomorrow at WACA to decide who will play the Adelaide Strikers in the final on December 2! In an all-round performance, Heat have come out victorious defeating Sydney Thunder by 44 runs in the eliminator.

Thunder won the bat flip and elected to bowl first allowing Heat to smash 169/8 in their 20 overs with handy contributions from Amelia Kerr (48) and Grace Harris (45). Hannah Darlington was in the wickets (3/42) but was expensive.

In response, openers Tahlia Wilson and Chamari Athapaththu started off with a 40-run stand but after losing Chamari in the 10th over, the Thunder line-up fell apart losing wickets at regular interval.

Only Athapaththu (41 off 40), skipper Heather Knight (25 off 17), Anika Learoyd (21 off 18) and Wilson (12 off 13) scored in double digits as the bowling attack comprising of Courtney Sippel (3/9), Nicola Hancock (2/16), Amelia Kerr (1/23) and Jess Jonassen (1/32) demolished the batting order.

As a result, Sydney Thunder has been eliminated from WBBL 09 with Brisbane Heat facing Perth Scorchers tomorrow in the Challenger. Adelaide Strikers have already advanced for the final to be played at the Adelaide Oval this Saturday.
