Until next time, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Sidharth Gulati alongside scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh! Stay safe, happy, and cool! Stay tuned to our network for all the cricket action from across the globe. Goodnight and Cheers!
The winning cheque and now the trophy is given to Nicholas Pooran and he can hold the trophy aloud. The whole team gets around and the celebrations are all set to begin now in Dubai. And now, the celebrations begin in Dubai and will go long into the night if not till early in the morning. Fireworks go off.
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain): "Cannot ask for anything else. This is what we planned and executed the plans to perfection. I think winning this trophy means the MI franchise is the most successful team in the tournament. So, proud of the accomplishment. I think everyone had the same agenda and same thing and that helped us a lot. Yes, Bravo, Pollard were really helpful. They have been there done that. Bravo was here throughout. Polly was here in the end. Great for us. Yes, the way UAE guys stepped up. Waseem was special in the final and he contributed. Waqar has come a long way as well and we are proud of him. I have played with him in CPL as well. So, great to have all these guys performing. Thank You."
The Winners medal is now being given to MI Emirates. Each of the support staff is getting it.
Sam Billings (Dubai Capitals Skipper): "Incredibly proud of the team. An impressive feat to reach the final. I would like to thank the support staff, who are the unsung heroes of our stupendous season. The team owners are brilliant. We missed our skills in the final, but all credit to Nicholas Pooran and his team for their all-round show. We gave away 20-25 runs too many. I'm thankful for the opportunity that I got to lead Dubai Capitals. The UAE players have all been impressive. I'm certainly looking forward to next year."
Sam Billings collects the runners up cheque and shield.
Runners Up medal to be presented to Dubai Capitals. Their coach Hemang Badani collects it on the team's behalf.
The match officials are getting their mementos led by match referee Simon Taufel.
Sikandar Raza: "It has been a great journey. A reward for a lot of hard-work, pain and criticism. We were pretty much down and out in the final. But we played very well throughout the tournament. I'm proud of the boys. It felt like one big family. I want to be the player who the captain can rely on. As a player, there's always room for improvement."
Most Valuable Player Award (Red Belt): Sikandar Raza.
Best UAE Player of the Season (Blue Belt): Muhammad Waseem
Best Batter of the Season (Green Belt): James Vince (356 runs)

Nicholas Pooran: "First, of all thanks to Jesus. Great to win an award especially in the finals. Cannot ask for more. Great attitude and body language is what the boys showed. The openers laid the platform and we finished it off well. I played according to situations and that helped me a lot as well. Kept my body at good shape."
