Milestone
So, we come to a conclusion of the series. We have been gifted with some thrilling contests by both these sides- India and Australia.

The Women in Blue have a dry period ahead as they next play a game after eight months in September. Hopeful, that the boards can land up with some more series or contests in between. Meanwhile, Australia will be welcoming South Africa later this month for three T20Is, ODIs and a Test.

So, that is it. This is your guy, Arijit Kundu signing off along with hustler (co-commentator) Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Shoutout to Akshay Bhide, who gave us valuable insights from the venue. Thank you and have a nice year ahead. Adios!
Alyssa Healy receives the T20I series trophy ๐Ÿ† and now she heads towards her teammates. They pose for a photograph behind the WINNERS banner.
Alyssa Healy(Australia Women Captain): "I am not sure if I deserve the Player of the series. Phoebe Litchfield was amazing with the bat this series. But I am proud to have led the team to a victory. When you are chasing a total like that, you need to quickly get through the total and try and get the run rate down as quickly as you can. It came up well for us today, and the last game as well.

We are actually, its the first time for a while that we used just five bowlers today. We have nine bowlers who can bowl, Still learning this role as a captain. The bowlers bowled so well, they make things easy for me. Tahlia McGrath, went to her but she did not want to bowl. I really have a pretty good people with us.

Back home and after a home we have to face South Africa, a Test match in the WACA. So exciting times ahead. And then back to India for the WPL and thinking to be in the IPL as well."
Player of the Series: Alyssa Healy (89 runs and 2 catches, SR @ 133)
Annabel Sutherland (Player of the Match): "It was just nice to get a complete performance out there for the group and yeah, finish off with a T20I series win.  We reviewed the first game. We probably didn't play quite as well as we'd liked and identified a few areas that we wanted to work on and yeah, really proud of the way the girls came back in that second game, and again tonight, it was awesome to see that.

[On back of the hand slower delivery] Yeah, I practice it a lot, a few times it doesn't come out so good, but yeah, just trying to trust my skills, read the game, and stay ahead of the batter."

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "The last one month we played very good cricket. They played only white ball cricket better than us. In red ball cricket, you have your time to analyse and can take the decisions. In white ball cricket, we have to be a bit batter and analyse quickly.

I think fielding is something we need to work on. In the first T20I, fielding set us for the mark and in the final two T20Is, we did not field well. They have been great, whenever they have been playing, they have given their 100% [the youngsters]. We did not felt that they're playing with us for a long time. We are not going to give them easily. That is something I am proud of my team. They have a lot of experience players and they do it when needed, this is something we can take from them."
Time for the post-match presentation..
Beth Mooney: "Yeah, would have been nice if we got it a little bit earlier in the game, to be honest, it got a bit tight at the end, but I thought T-MaC came in and batted the house down and so did Phoebe. Obviously, Midge hit some pretty good form as well, so it makes my life easy when I'm not hitting it too well that those guys are doing a great job at the other end.

Yeah, we've certainly had one eye on that World Cup in Bangladesh at the end of the year. So for us, it's about making sure we're getting better every game and working on those things that we wanted to. I think the batting group, we had a chat earlier today about trying to be back to our best as a whole unit, and I think we've pretty much nailed that tonight.

I'll tell you what, it makes me feel a little bit old now. I'll certainly relish my last few days of the T20s, but Phoebe and Belsy have been doing an outstanding job, not just this series, but I think the West Indies series as well, so hopefully they can keep that momentum going. And obviously, we've got Darcie Brown in our ranks, too, so there are a few players at home too, who are injured at the moment. So hopefully we see them back in green and gold very soon and we'll be a force to be reckoned with come October this year."
Earlier, Alyssa Healy yelled a rare tails and got it correct, inviting India to bat first. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana gave a brisk start, scoring 39 runs for the opening stand. Despite losing the former, the hosts were 51/1 at the end of the powerplay. However, Australia mounted a strong comeback and removed three wickets in a flash, including that of on-song Mandhana (29).

Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur had a poor day with the bat followed by Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma piling a 33-run stand for the fifth wicket. Subsequently, Deepti was caught in the deep in an attempt to play a check shot but Richa showed her prowess as she powered quick 34 runs at the late end. Amanjot Kaur assisted the glovewoman and with a final ball six from Pooja Vastrakar, India Women reached 147/6.

Post-match presentation rolls up soon.
10:06 PM IST and Local Time: Winning is a habit for this Australian Women side and today is no different. They drub India in this white ball series 2-1. Despite taking the early lead on the first T20I, the Aussies come hard like a boss and seals the deal like a champion. Plenty of positives for India but they still have to learn the way to topple the mighty sides of Women's Cricket.

In pursuit of the chase, Australian openers started the innings watchfully against Renuk Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu. However, after the third over, Healy started to play her natural game and the pair extracted 37 runs from the final three overs of the powerplay. They reached the fifty runs mark within the field restrictions and then a bizarre incident took centre stage. On the fifth ball of the seventh over, Jemimah Rodrigues caught a low catch that could have dismissed Healy but the TV umpire's verdict turned out to be Not Out as there was no conclusive evidence and the soft signal rule was ruled out earlier.

The Indian side tried their best and ultimately the Australian skipper was outfoxed by Deepti Sharma for 55 off 38 balls. Tahlia McGrath continued the assault before Pooja Vastrakar dismissed her for 20 (15). It was followed by another wicket when Ellyse Perry๐Ÿ followed suit for a golden duck being trapped in front. However, these dismissals did not bother Australia much as Phoebe Litchfield and Beth Mooney found periodic boundaries coupled with good strike rotation to seal the deal by seven wickets and eight balls to spare.
