That's it from our coverage of this Elimination Final and what a game it was. Do join us for the final on Sunday and stick around to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe in our network and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Sidharth Gulati alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Matt Henry (Dream11 Gamechanger of the Match): "Great feeling to be on the right side of it. Got a little tight towards the end, but we did it. It was all about keeping it simple. It's difficult to defend on small grounds. We have played some really good well over the last month or so. Looking forward to the final!"
10:00 AM IST, 5:30 PM Local Time: What a fantastic game we have had here in Hamilton. Both teams did not give an inch today. But in the end, Canterbury Kings have come out of nowhere to win the game off the final ball by 4 wickets off the final ball. Wellington will wonder where did they lose this game. It was their game to be won, but they let it slip in the end as Logan was taken to the cleaners. What a game of cricket.

Chasing 174 for the win, the Kings lost early wickets as they lost Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls early for low scores. Chad Bowes looked good for his 46 off 33 balls and took the attack to the opposition inside the powerplay. Cole McConchie the skipper led from the front with his 53 off 38 balls. The keeper batter Mitchell Hay looked good for his 38 off 28 balls. It looked like they have lost their way and lost the game. But Matt Henry turned out to be the game changer and scored 16* off 6 balls when the team needed it in the final over while Zak Foulkes hit the winning runs and scored 11* off 7 balls. 10 extras were given by the fielding side as the chase was achieved in the final ball of the match with a six from Foulkes.

For Wellington's bowling point of view, Ben Sears picked up a couple of wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Adam Milne, Nathan Smith, Logan van Beek, and Rachin Ravindra. But they lost the plot in the end, especially van Beek bowling those wide balls in the end.

Earlier in the game, Wellington Firebirds won the toss and decided to bat first. They also lost early wickets as Severin and Ravindra fell early. Devon Conway looked good for his 23 off 23 balls. Skipper Nick Kelly scored 33 off 31 balls. Mohammad Abbas played a great cameo of 32 off 21 balls. But it was the Michael Bracewell show as he scored a breath-taking 54 off 24 balls and took Wellington to a big total. Nathan Smith scored a good 14 off 8 balls in the end. 10 extras given by the fielding side as Wellington ended the proceedings at 173/7 in 20 overs.

Zak Foulkes was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/31 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Kyle Jamieson, Cole McConchie, and Ish Sodhi. They also went for runs in the end overs but somehow managed to get over the line.

So, a win for Canterbury Kings over Wellington Firebirds by 4 wickets and they advance through to the finals on Sunday. It will be Auckland Aces vs Canterbury Kings in the final on Sunday at Eden Park in Auckland.

Foulkes has done it. They have won the game off the last ball and pulled the game out of nowhere. The Kings are into the finals.
19.6 Beek to Z Foulkes
6 SIX! It's the KINGS. THEY HAVE WON IT. THEIR TWO BOWLERS HAVE DONE THE JOB. THEY ARE INTO THE FINAL OF SUPER SMASH 2023-24. AUCKLAND vs CANTERBURY. Full-toss, angling in on middle, Foulkes swings it over deep square leg for a maximum. Cool head under pressure and that's all what that took for Canterbury. Wellington can't believe it! How did they lose this? It was well within their grasp.
3 needed off 1 ball now. 2 needed for a tie. If it is a tie, we will have a super over is what we are being told. No super over as we have run out of time.
19.5 Beek to M Henry
1 Fuller length delivery, angling in around leg, Henry flicks it to deep mid-wicket for a single.
Oh, my word! Henry gets another maximum and the match is on now. 4 needed off 2 balls. Umpire checking for a fair delivery and the ball is below the waist height. Fair delivery.
19.4 Beek to M Henry
6 SIX! Henry's hit it out of the ground. Only 4 runs require off 2 balls. There are gonna check once again for the waist high no-ball. Full-toss, angling in around leg, Henry swings it over mid-wicket for a maximum. He could be the hero here. The TV umpire confirms it is dipping. So, a fair delivery.
10 needed off 3 balls now.
19.4 Beek to M Henry
WD WIDE! Full length delivery, angling in, down leg, too wide, Henry misses the flick. Keeper moves to his left and takes it. Henry manages to avoid the pad's contact with the ball.
Henry strikes a blow for the maximum. 11 needed off 3 balls.
19.3 Beek to M Henry
6 SIX! This clears the fence. Misses the blockhole and Henry gives it the deserved punishment. Full-toss, angling in on middle, Henry clobbers it straight over the bowler's head for a maximum. Came off the middle of the bat.
19.3 Beek to M Henry
WD WIDE! Full length delivery, angling in, down leg, too wide, Henry misses the flick. Keeper moves to his left and takes it.

19.2 Beek to Z Foulkes
1lb Full length delivery, angling in on Foulkes' pads, down leg, the batter goes for the flick, but no connection, deflects off his left shoe to square leg. LEG BYE!
