That marks the end of our coverage of the 32nd match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Chhattisgarh and Haryana where Chhattisgarh defeated their opposition by 4 wickets.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Don't go anywhere, just switch the tab to follow the coverage of the ongoing Cricket World Cup match between South Africa and Netherlands!
19:47 IST and Local Time | Chhattisgarh pulled off a very tough run chase by remaining calculative throughout and taking on the experienced bowlers. At one stage, the chase was looking tough for them with the asking rate climbing up over 9 per over but they stabilized the innings well and clinched a victory with 4 balls and 4 wickets remaining.

Chasing 163, Chhattisgarh were off to a shaky start when Mohit Sharma started the chase with a maiden over. But then, skipper Amandeep Khare started taking on the bowlers and scored a quick 21 facing just 9 balls. Nishant Sindhu in his first over removed both the Chhattisgarh openers. Then the responsibility was on the number 3 batter Harpreet Singh Bhatia and the impact substitute Sanjeet Desai. They both played really well to register a 50 run partnership between them. Sanjeet Desai departed after scoring 21 and then Bhatia started scoring boundaries. He reached to his fifty to help his team to get into a good position.

When Harpreet Singh Bhatia departed making a good 53, Ajay Mandal joined the crease. He was instrumental for Chhattisgarh to chase the run. He scored a no time 33 facing just 16 balls and was well partnered by Eknath Kerkar. Kerkar, the keeper batter smashed a maximum to start the penultimate over bowled by Mohit Sharma and later went on to hit another boundary to stay unbeaten on 14. In the end, Chhattisgarh chased 163 run target with 4 balls remaining.

For Haryana, Harshal Patel and Amit Mishra, the experienced duo went very expensive. Although Mishra took two wickets with Nishant Sindhu taking a couple of wickets, Anshul Kamboj and Yuzvendra Chahal shared two wickets between them.

Earlier coming to bat first, Haryana posted a good fighting total of 162, thanks to a brilliant half century by Ankit Kumar(59), an anchoring 31 by the skipper Himanshu Rana. Late cameo of 16 runs by Sumit Kumar helped them to cross 160 run mark. For Chhattisgarh, Ajay Mandal scalped a couple of wickets with Shashank Singh taking the same number of wickets.
Chhattisgarh clinched a very memorable victory against a star-studded Haryana team. The held their nerves throughout the chase, took on the bowlers very calculatively and won the match with 4 balls remaining.
19.2 S Kumar to E Kerkar
1 Length delivery angling in here, Kerkar looks to swing and gets the inside edge to the cover region as they scamper through for a single to win the game. That's the end of the game as Chhattisgarh wins this game by 4 wickets with 4 balls to spare.
Scores are level!!!
19.1 S Kumar to E Kerkar
4 FOUR! Short of a length, Kerkar helps it on its way by going down on one knee and helps it through the fine leg region as the ball races away to the fence for a boundary.

5 required of the final over. Ajay Mandal and Eknath Kerkar are in the crease and the run chase is looking a cakewalk for Chattisgarh! Impact player Sumit Kumar finished the innings with a maximum. Can he make an impact here by doing some wonder?
