Player of the Match: Daryl Mitchell
3:02 PM IST, 22:32 Local Time: The Black Caps extend their winning streak to four matches in the series. They were in a precarious situation but Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips rescued the hosts from a dire situation and sealed the deal with 11 balls to spare.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Pakistan posted 158/5 in 20 overs. Rizwan played an unbeaten and scintillating knock of 63-ball 90 runs, while Mohammad Nawaz’s 9-ball 21* runs cameo helped the men in green post a respectable total on the board. However, the Pakistani middle-order batters once again struggled to score at a brisk pace, going almost seven overs without hitting a single boundary after the powerplay.

Matt Henry and Lockie Ferguson grabbed a couple of wickets for the Black Caps, while Adam Milne celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of 158 runs, New Zealand got off to a shaky start, losing three wickets in quick succession and finding themselves at 20/3 in the third over. Finn Allen, Tim Seifert, and Will Young were the batters to bite the dust, with all three falling prey to Pakistani skipper, Shaheen Afridi.

Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips started the rescue mission for the hosts, and the duo played sensibly to keep the scoreboard ticking at a decent pace and switched gears when needed. Pakistan bowlers toiled hard to break the partnership but failed to do so. The pair added an unbeaten 139 runs for the fourth wicket and sealed the deal for the hosts by 7 wickets and 11 balls to spare. Mitchell remained unbeaten on 44-ball 72 runs, while Phillips remained unbeaten on 52-ball 70 runs.

Shaheen shone with the ball for the visitors, claiming all three wickets that fell in the innings.

4 FOUR! Swings away and that's victory for New Zealand. Short, outside off, Mitchell gets on the top of the bounce, pulls it over square leg for a boundary. That's another victory for New Zealand, fourth on the trot against Pakistan in the T20I format. They were in trouble at one stage, but an emphatic partnership helped them seal the deal. 4-0 against a Pakistan team that's solid in T20s is an impressive result.
New Zealand need 4 runs from 12 balls. Haris Rauf will bowl the penultimate over.

17.1 Z Khan to D Mitchell
1 Over the wicket, fuller length delivery, off cutter, outside off, Mitchell opens the bat face, guides it to backward point for a single.
