So, that's it from the coverage of this game. We will be back with more cricketing actions from around the globe and across formats later on in the day. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Mitchell Santner (New Zealand Captain): "Yeah, Pakistan are a very good team and they've shown that when they've come here and wherever we play them. Our conversation should revolve around attempting to sustain the effort for as long as possible, and he (Allen) did it for a long time today.

It's nice to achieve a significant score on a smaller ground. However, the added advantage of scoreboard pressure empowers us to adopt an aggressive approach, aiming to elevate the run rate significantly."
Finn Allen (Player of the Match): "Trying to have a solid foundation, building steadily from there, strategically choosing moments to make a move, and selecting bowlers carefully. The focus is on playing the ball based on its merit, leading to reaching the intended destination."
Records broken by Finn Allen in this match:

➡He has hit 16 sixes in this match, achieving the feat of most sixes in an innings for New Zealand in T20Is, breaking the record of 10 sixes of Corey Anderson.

➡Scored 137 runs, the highest individual score for the Black Caps in T20Is, surpassing McCullum’s 123 runs.

➡Out of 137 runs, Allen scored 116 runs with the help of boundaries, which is the most by any New Zealand batter in a T20I innings, surpassing McCullum’s 96

9:09 AM IST, 4:39 PM Local Time: So, another comfortable victory for New Zealand as they win this game by 45 runs to take a winning 3-0 lead in the 5-match series. The hosts clinched the series with two games to spare. They have played better than the visitors in all facets of the game and deserve the series win in the end.

Chasing a mammoth target of 225 to keep their hopes alive in the series, Pakistan lost youngster Saim Ayub quite early for 10 runs. Mohammad Rizwan looked good while he was there as he scored 24 off 20 balls. Babar Azam was a class apart as he notched up yet another fifty. He scored his third T20I fifty of the series and ended with 58 off 37 balls top scoring for Pakistan. Fakhar Zaman scored a breezy 19 off 10 balls. Azam Khan scored 10. Mohammad Nawaz had fun out there with his 28 off 15 balls. Shaheen Afridi was unbeaten on 16* off 11 balls but it was a bridge too far as Pakistan ended with 179/7 in 20 overs losing by 45 runs. 12 extras given by the fielding side.

The New Zealand bowlers were disciplined with their lines and lengths. Tim Southee picked up a couple of wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. Matt Henry went the distance in his 1/51 in 4 overs. But the others were economical. A wicket apiece for Lockie Ferguson, skipper Mitchell Santner, and Ish Sodhi.

Earlier in the game, Pakistan won the toss and opted to chase. New Zealand lost Devon Conway early again. But thereafter, it was the Finn Allen show as he scored the highest individual score by a New Zealand player in T20IS. He scored 137 off just 62 balls with the help of 5 fours and 16 massive sixes which was another record by him. He was ably supported by Tim Siefert who scored 31 off 23 balls. Glenn Phillips chipped in with 19 off 15 balls. 13 extras given by the Pakistan team as New Zealand ended with 224/7 in 20 overs.

It was a hapless bowling display from Pakistan bowlers. Haris Rauf did get two wickets but went for 60 runs in 4 overs. One of his overs went for 28 runs as Finn Allen was on the charge. A wicket apiece for Shaheen Afridi, Zaman Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, and Mohammad Wasim Jr with most of them going for plenty today. It was a bad day at the office for Pakistan bowlers for the third time this series.

So, New Zealand wins the match by 45 runs and clinch the series with 2 matches to play. They lead it 3-0. Pakistan have to go back to the drawing board and come back stronger in the next game.
