Milestone
That's it from our end and it was another clinical display by the Adelaide Strikers. The Melbourne Strikers will have to go back to the drawing board and regroup as they head forward in the league.

That being said, let's hope for some more quality cricketing action in the WBBL as we roll on further. Until then, this is Wali, Ninaad and Dushyant signing off!
Katie Mack is the player of the match.

11:48 AM IST, 5:18 PM Local Time: So that's that and it's the Adelaide Strikers that have secured a win by four wickets over Melbourne Stars. Opting to bat first, the Melbourne Stars compiled a total of 133/6 from 20 overs. The trio of Meg Lanning 13 (15), Sophia Dunkley 5 (10) and Annabel Sutherland 6 (10) departed cheaply as the Adelaide spinners got into the act.

Alice Capsey 25 (26) did show some stability out there in the middle before getting stumped to Anesu Mushangwe. Capsey did string a 41 run stand alongside Maia Bouchier 48 (38) who topped the charts for her side and got them to a decent first innings total.

Bouchier struck six fours and a six while batting at a strike rate of 126.31. For the Stars, it was Megan Schutt who once again stood out with the ball in hand as she bowled a spell of 2/21 from four overs. The likes of Anesu Mushangwe, Georgia Adams, Amanda-Jade Wellington and Jemma Barsby chipped in with a wicket apiece.

As for the run chase, Laura Wolvaardt 2 (5) was dismissed early as Kim Garth got her bowled in the second over. Tahila McGrath 10 (8) did strike a couple of quick boundaries but got too streaky as she attempted to scoop Alice Capsey and was LBW.

However, opener Katie Mack 48 (40) and Bridge Patterson 27 (24) struck a 54 run partnership to ease off the nerves for the Adelaide Strikers. Mack struck six boundaries while batting at a strike rate of 120, made sure to keep the scoreboard ticking and proved to be the top scorer for her side.

Sophia Dunkley did bag two wickets in the middle overs but that couldn’t add pressure on the Strikers as Madeline Penna 28 (28)* stayed there till the end to anchor her side to a win.

For the Strikers, it was Alice Capsey who impressed the most with her spell of 2/19 from four overs. Sophia Dunkley contributed with 2/30, whereas, Kim Garth and Annabel Sutherland also bagged a wicket each.

19.4 A Sutherland to A Wellington
1 That's it! Strikers win by 4 wickets! Back of a length on the off stump. Wellington waits for the ball in the crease and works it very late through to the left of short third man. Runs the winning run and yet comes back for 2. The ball goes through the fence but only 1 run will be added in the account. Strikers get their 2nd win of the season!

19.3 A Sutherland to Neil
W GONE! WICKET! TWIST IN THE TALE YET AGAIN! RHYS MCKENNA WITH A TERRIFIC CATCH! Bowls at a slightly quicker pace on length and outside the off stump. O'Neil doesn't move her feet and launches hard at the ball looking to clear mid on. McKenna back paddles to her right and takes a wonderful catch above her head! 1 more run needed off 3 deliveries!
19.2 A Sutherland to M Penna
1 SCORES ARE LEVEL! Full on the off stump, slower again. Penna hits it hard towards mid on. Takes the risky single and makes it!
19.1 A Sutherland to M Penna
0 Over the stumps comes Sutherland for the final over. Slower delivery on good length and outside off. Penna chops it straight to backward point on the bounce.
Ninaad: 2 runs needed off the final over, 5 wickets in hand. You would back the batting side to take the game away with them.

18.5 A Capsey to G Adams
W In the air and straight in the hands of Sutherland at mid off! Is there another twist in the tale?? Full and flighted delivery pitching just outside the off stump. Adams advances down the wicket looking to clear mid off. Fails to adjust to the quicker pace of the ball and ends up landing the ball in the safe hands of Sutherland stationed at the edge of the circle at mid off.
18.4 A Capsey to M Penna
1 Full on the pads, Penna uses her feet and clips this wide of deep midwicket for just a single. 2 more runs needed in 8 balls!
18.3 A Capsey to M Penna
0 Tossed up on the fourth stump line, Penna drills it straight back to the bowler.
18.2 A Capsey to M Penna
0 Length and outside off, punched back to the bowler.
18.1 A Capsey to G Adams
1 Over the wicket. Full and outside the off stump. Adams gets forward and whips it to backward square for a single. Direct hit would have been curtains at the striker's end.
